Held my car for 5 days until Funds cleared in there account. Well I purchased my 2017 Ford F150 from the Margate location. I secured my own financing and because of this they will not release my car until they r Well I purchased my 2017 Ford F150 from the Margate location. I secured my own financing and because of this they will not release my car until they receive the funds from a bank that they currently deal with. This is absurd. I received a letter explaining the details of the finance transaction from Space Coast stating that the loan is done, signed, secured and finalized and I was told to hand the finance manager Eric Darby this letter which to them was meaningless. The reason why they are doing this is because I did not secure a loan through them so they did not make any money on the interest of my loan. Nor did I buy there extended warranty. I will never deal with this 3rd class type of dealership again. Any future buyers looking to purchase a car and secure there financing independently from the Florida Fine Cars finance department will have the same issue I am having. It has been 2 days after signing all the docs required to take ownership of the vehicle, plus my "6k cash deposit." So now I am at the mercy of waiting for the funds to go into the Florida Fine Car account and then they will release the vehicle. The finance manager Eric Darby is not really helpful either. He could not tell me if the funds were in the process of being transferred or if they have even been ACH to there account nor would he even do me, the customer, a favor to follow up with the bank because he did not make a dime on me from the financing aspect of the deal.
