Service appointment problems I made an appointment to have the recall fixed on my Mazda3 at Flood Mazda. I got a text confirming that I have an appointment on that Saturday. I drive from Newport to my appointment and the service bay is all torn apart and under construction. The nice Salesman told us to give him our email and they will come pick up our car at our house and leave a loaner car for us. Well, that never happened it has been almost a month and Flood Mazda still hasn't contacted me. I still have not fixed my recall and need to find another dealer. Hopefully I won't have to drive too far. I can't believe Flood Mazda let me drive all the way there knowing full well that they won't be able to do the service recall. What a waste of time and gas. Alyssa is great. I’m happy with the service. It did take a bit long however just to change my oil and do the multi-point. I think it took 1.5-2hrs. Not a big deal and I’m happy with the service. Good car inspection I brought my 2017 MX-5 in for its first RI inspection. Everything went smoothly. My one complaint is that it took more than 100 minutes. I'd suggest: I brought my 2017 MX-5 in for its first RI inspection. Everything went smoothly. My one complaint is that it took more than 100 minutes. I'd suggest: 1. Try to cut this down to no more than 30-45 minutes. 2. When they make the appointment, forewarn customers how long it will take and suggest they may choose to do something else while the inspection is taking place. 3. When they bring the car in, forewarn them again of the time. 4. While they are waiting, update them on the status of the work. Do this perhaps every 30 min. More

My question: What is the point of Making an appointment when I had to wait 2 HOURS. My appt. was for 8:15 am.. I got out EXACTLY at 10:17 AM. I also thought Car wash & vacuum was part of customer service.. I have never received it since I have had oil changed. It is just a perk that would be nice to get when I am there. ( I happened to have day off, so went home and did it myself) I do not have a problem with waiting , but it seemed a bit odd. Still a happy customer Lorana Reposa DeMedeiros More
