My Camry is only 2 years old. The air conditioner had a moldy/mildew smell when you turn it on. I replaced the cabin filter 3 times already and they would come out black full of mildew. It has gotten worse to the point where my wife was getting lung infections 6 times since we had the car, and it all pointed to this issue. Been taking it to Manhattan Beach Toyota few times to complain. THey were going to charge me $500 to take apart dash to see what is wrong and no guarantee of fixing it. Finally took it to Carson Toyota and met Dan Lawson. Told him about the issue and he went to work. He had found a bulletin on my particular Camry Year where the Condensor is defective and cannot drain the water left in it.. WHAT? Dan was so professional and said, they will take care of it. Ordered the part, made me an appointment and in a few days when the condensor came in, the car was 100% repaired. Guess what? Manhattan Beach Toyota is less than 2 miles from me, they lost a customer for life. I am going to see Dan in Carson, which is about 11 miles from me. THey now gained a new customer and i will spread the word. My whole family have Toyotas and I myself also have a Scion. thank you Dan!!! More

My husband and I are more than pleased with this dealership and the care we received from our advisor Andre. Finding a place that we can trust and be happy with the service is largely due to Andre' dealership and the care we received from our advisor Andre. Our Scion had a trunk locking issue that was quickly resolved and we appreciate that fact that our vehicle was not kept for a lengthy time which would have caused an inconvenience to us because of our busy schedules. This new dealership is impressive and were happy to receive a complimentary car wash. We do have a dealership closer to where we live but will be returning to Carson Toyota for any service needs and will call upon Andre for his help and expertise. Thanks again Carson Toyota (and Andre) for a great experience!! More
I had the worst experience ever with this dealer. After only 1 year and barely 12,000 miles my corolla started to have brake problems after taking the car for just a regular service. I took it back and I started to get all kinds of stupid excuses ending with the greatest excuse ever! "The problem is due to your driving habits" I have another corolla wit almost 150,000 miles to prove them wrong? I have never had problems with that car. I tried to fix the problem with toyota directly but of course the bean counters there gave me the same answers. Of course what can you expect from the guys that almost destroyed the lexus brand! I just hope that they pay millions after millions on the upcoming trials! In the meanwhile,please do not buy toyota and especially DO NOT BUY AT CARSON toyota!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
I arranged service for my 1998 Toyota Carolla online. It was quick and easy, and I received a confirmation to my email in minutes. The Service Advisor I was scheduled to meet with was not in when I arrived was quick and easy, and I received a confirmation to my email in minutes. The Service Advisor I was scheduled to meet with was not in when I arrived a 7:00 a.m. However, Mr. Jose Avina stepped in and began the process of getting my car serviced. He was friendly and cheerful. Mr. Avina explained things to me in a way that I could understand them. I had taken my car to a non-toyota repair shop that installed non-toyota parts. It was a nightmare. Mr. Avina assured me that my car would be repaired correctly. When he told me the car would have to be kept at Carson Toyota overnight, I panicked because I was concerned about the cost of a rental. However, Mr. Avina arranged for a loaner car at no cost to me. There is more work that I want to have done on my Toyota that I cannot afford right now, but as soon as I have the money, I am taking my car back to Carson Toyota and I want my service requests handled by Jose Avina. I purchased my 1998 Toyota Carolla from Carson Toyota as a used car many years ago and own it outright. I am in the market for a new Toyota Avalon, now. I plan to keep my 1998 Toyota Carolla. Once again, thank you to Carson Toyota Service Department, and Kudos and many, many thanks to Mr. Jose Avina -- a professional and a people person. Thanks for letting me comment. M. Barnes More
I made an appointment online to get my Prius' recalled water pump replaced. All were very friendly and helpful from the service advisor, his assistant, cashier, and the 2 shuttle drivers. Ms Tracy Poplar, Service Advisor, is the shining star of Carson Toyota's Service Department. Her appearance is always very tasteful and her knowledge of of job and the professional way that she goes about Carson Toyota's Service Department. Her appearance is always very tasteful and her knowledge of of job and the professional way that she goes about her daily duties is impeccable. The reason I like to come to Carson Toyota is because of "Michael Rumbaugh" and "Pete Thomas" in the service dept. These guys you can trust and they care to give you their best. Today I was in to replace th "Michael Rumbaugh" and "Pete Thomas" in the service dept. These guys you can trust and they care to give you their best. Today I was in to replace the bulbs in my truck tailights. "Michael Rumbaugh" personally took apart my tailights and replaced the bulbs with a wrench he had handy in his office. I didn't ask Michael to do it, he just went ahead and did it for me. I was in and out quick thanks to him. Another time "Pete Thomas" helped me by making a copy of my bent truck key. Everyone said it wasn't possible but Pete came up with a blank and with some persistance made a new key work. Pete was a hero that day. I will buy my next truck again from Carson Toyota because I can trust and know that Michael and Pete care to give you get great service!!! Also it's worth mentioning that Elizabeth's sparkle and people skills in the cashier dept also has contributed to my positive experiences. Winfield San Pedro More
