Dear guitarua, We responded privately to you when you wrote this review but hadn't heard anything back. We felt it was worthwhile to acknowledge you publicly since we value all our customers experiences and opinions and our indifferent to none. We apologize that we were unable to help you out but are grateful that you were able to get the engine issue resolved to your satisfaction. Based on our records and after talking with the people involved it seems as if you were unable to provide oil change records to us which is why we could not pursue a warranty claim with Subaru based on our diagnosis of rod knock due to oil starvation. Also, our Service Director Mike Boudrieau was not alerted to this particular issue at the time and has since learned more.
