I’ve had my car serviced here a couple times, and overall I’m very happy with the way I’m treated. The staff is always patient, professional, and attentive, and Richard, my service advisor, has been especial I’m very happy with the way I’m treated. He’s courteous, understanding, and always makes sure my concerns are addressed. That said, one area where I think the dealership could improve is in protecting the vehicles interiors during service. It is inevitable that the technicians will transfer grease, fingerprints, dirt, etc due to the nature of their job. My vehicle has a light-colored interior, and I’ve noticed on multiple occasions it comes back with grease marks on the seats, sticky steering wheel or dirty fingerprints on the start engine button. Things that are noticeable especially in a light colored interior. Other luxury auto manufacturer dealerships like nearby BMW of Peabody, Audi of Peabody, place plastic covers on the seats, steering wheel, and floor mats to prevent this, a small detail that makes a big difference in the overall experience. I truly appreciate the excellent service and care from the team here, and I think adding this simple step would make the customer experience a 10/10 and more in line with the standards of a MB dealership. This is my third Mercedes. I had visited other Mercedes vendors for service but with Flagship was beyond my expectations. Whenever I walk into this dealership, It always feel like a big family. People are not judgmental, they are always so warm. Just had a terrible experience - arrived 30 min before opening and sat down in waiting room when the valet named Guy told me to go wait in my car. I reported this to the general manager Paul and his response was "I would have thrown you out too ". Even though the waiting room was open with no signs saying stay out nor hours open he would have thrown me out. He said he will take care of having signs. He tried to turn the table on me attempting but failing to put me on the defensive with a threat that "if anyone yells at one of his employees he bans them from the dealership." This was before he had any information concerning all that had transpired. He seemed very stressed and kept saying he had to go to a meeting. Well, much more important than any meeting is his responsibility to make sure customers are not mistreated in a way that I was. Two other guests in the waiting room told me that Guy acted inappropriate with them. As I was leaving, I saw my car came out of the wash still dirty and was told if I want it clean have it detailed. One of the dealership selling points to me "was we give you car washes as long as you own the car." Today I was told things show a lot more on a Black car. The young man who drove the car out said the car was dirty and he would be upset were it his car. I guess giving you a car wash doesn't mean getting it clean. Believe me, these Mercedes cars are extremely expensive and you pay for the car washes. You know that some people are mistreated but don't complain as another women in the waiting room said this same valet was very snippy to her but she did not want to get in a fight by complaining especially after I relayed my experience with Paul. This same valet went over to another man in the waiting room and said to him referring to me, "what does he want I washed the car twice and he is still complaining. " The man came over to relay this to me. THEY SENT ME HOME WITH A DIRTY CAR BECAUSE HOW MUCH CAN YOU ARGUE WITH THEM ? Finally, even though this car was for my wife, she refuses to visit this dealership given the behavior of this valet. My feeling is if you want to be treated well skip this dealership. I just can't believe this whole thing. I have never seen so much about so little - a sad commentary about this dealership. Should they be making an issue with a customer concerning a matter such as this- Man sits in our waiting room to wait for service WOW ! More
