I’ve bought many cars over the years and this one was the quickest and easiest yet! Joe was a great salesman who was very knowledgeable about our vehicle and wasn’t pushy but was always available by phone call or text when I had a question to ask about the car. Service on my raptor was done in a timely manner and corrected the issue(s) that I had both times I was in. Keith Drake is a great communicator and made sure I had a loaner car each time I was in. corrected the issue(s) that I had both times I was in. This dealership has the worst managed parts department that I have ever seen. We are living in the 21st century the last time I checked. This place is still living in the 19th century. They can't track a that I have ever seen. We are living in the 21st century the last time I checked. This place is still living in the 19th century. They can't track a part when ordered, they can't tell you where it is or how it's going to arrive. What company cannot track a package? Every part is asset tagged, every ware house in America has a scanner hand held device, every 21st century business has an Inventory tracking system and every company knows how to track packages. So, what is wrong with this dealership? Their parts department couldn't find their xxx with both hands. The upper management doesn't understand that their reputation is purely based on how the managers below them operate and how the customer is treated. Surely this dealership does not care about their customers. This dealership needs to spend the money on a package/parts tracking system and come into the 21st century. What a joke and waste of an American business. More

As far as my kids are concerned, Five Star Ford of Dallas will forever be known as the Grinch who stole Christmas! My experience with Five Star Ford of Dallas was the worst car purchasing experience I have will forever be known as the Grinch who stole Christmas! My experience with Five Star Ford of Dallas was the worst car purchasing experience I have ever had...and I have purchased a number of cars throughout my life. After putting a deposit down (and providing a copy of my driver's license and insurance card) on a 2018 Expedition Platinum (with the Heavy Duty Towing that I was looking for), I received a call a few hours later from the salesperson, Fatima, stating that the car was sold to someone else. This was after going through the long process I describe below. I submitted an inquiry on the Expedition Sunday evening and called Monday morning. On Monday morning, Fatima stated the Expedition was available and sent a video of the vehicle. I went through process of sending her pictures of my trade-in. She provided the trade-in value and then improved it. I agreed to the deal that same day. On Tuesday morning, she asked for my credit card number to make a deposit over the phone, since I was driving up from out of town. She then asked for a copy of my driver's license and insurance card, from what I later found out was her personal cell phone. As I stated above, she called as I was about to drive up with my 3 kids, who were incredibly excited, about getting the Expedition, because it was surprise for my wife. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from Becky, who stated she was one of the managers. She called in an attempt to explain what happened. Her first explanation was that it was a "human error" and that another manager did not know that there was a deposit on the vehicle. As the conversation continued, she then explained that someone else came in with a cashier's check. I explained to her that the entire process was unprofessional and just reinforces the poor experience far too many people have when purchasing a car from a dealer. I asked for an immediate refund of my deposit and a letter or email from the dealership stating that they properly disposed of my credit card information as well as the copy of my driver’s license and insurance card, especially since the latter two were on Fatima’s personal cell phone…which I did not realize until after speaking to Becky. I conveyed my concern to Becky about the dealership handling of my personal information and how that could result in identify theft. She said that she would make sure the information was removed from Fatima’s personal cell phone. As of this morning, I have only received an email and text with the refund but nothing about my personal information being properly disposed of. Becky did offer to provide me with a Visa gift card due to what happened. I thanked her but declined. Candidly, there isn’t anything that Five Star Ford of Dallas could do to make up for this poor experience. More
