Hi, me again. I have brought my truck (purchased June 2020) in six times for the same issue. It dies while idling. Message "autostart/stop manual restart required. I have brought my truck (purchased June 2020) in six times for the same issue. It dies while idling. Message "autostart/stop manual restart required." Each time it is something new with the same code registered. *Battery charged and system reset. Battery passed *Updated PCM and reprogrammed start/stop system *Replaced VCT timing solenoids *Replaced booster vacuum sensor ($400) This last time, 4 days after replacing the sensor, same issue. Now it's the battery that was good in December and told it would be $200+ to replace it. Replace it to continue the diagnostics, which may or may not be the issue. Service staff have been very helpful and couldn't ask for better. Technicians not so much. Why has it taken 6 trips, 11 months, lots of time, and money to fix the same issue each time a different diagnosis. This truck has been an an absolute nightmare. More

Jennifer was the point of contact @Five Star Ford of Dallas and she was really great with the assistance. Jennifer was very good in communicating for any questions/concerns I had related to my Ford fusi Dallas and she was really great with the assistance. Jennifer was very good in communicating for any questions/concerns I had related to my Ford fusion service. She made sure I would get back my car as early as possible with the issue being fixed.
