A task that accordingly to the vehicle's manual can be done easily just following simple steps. However, since the steps described on the manual were incomplete and didn't resolve the problem, I called customer support to guide me. Nor the customer service over phone, or the advisor in person where willing to help me troubleshoot. Instead, these "sharks" saw me as a "pray" and did not hesitate to take the opportunity to try to charged me $$$$ for the help, stating a xx technical diagnosis that accordingly with their expertise will require a Ford technician with special programing tools to program the new key. ($$$ expensive) Luckily, I did my research and homework and I was able to program the spare key without falling for their xx by following the manual guide that comes with vehicle and filling the gaps of information that were omitted on the manual from online open sources. ***If you are reading this review and NEED a FOB KEY programed, DO NOT count on Ford to help you. You are on your own. SADLY, you can only count with Ford if you are willing to be robbed your money. THE GOOD NEWS: It might take a little longer to get the information needed to do it yourself, but it CAN BE DONE. Don't trust entirely what the Ford advisor CROOKS are telling you. They are only after your money. More
I first called Five Star Stone Mountain Ford due to a check engine light. I could not pass emissions, and so therefore, I could not tag my car. I had already bought 2 OEM catalytic converter‘s, 4 O2 sens check engine light. I could not pass emissions, and so therefore, I could not tag my car. I had already bought 2 OEM catalytic converter‘s, 4 O2 sensors, and 6 spark plugs. A local mechanic put these on. The check engine light still would not go off. It’s important to note that the only time that my check engine light will go off is if I reset it with a handheld diagnostic tool, or by taking it to AutoZone to have them reset it. There were also a couple of recalls on my car that I needed to get fixed. I also one of my oil changed, and for them to fix my tire sensor. I explained all of this to Don Alexander, who is a service advisor. He then advised me that it would be $200 to put my car on the diagnostic computer to see why my check engine light was so persistent. I agreed. I pulled into the garage with my check engine light still on and left it with them. A few days later, they called me to let me know that I could pick my car up. When I picked up my car, the check engine light was off. I was so relieved. He had also completed the recalls, give me a oil change, and fix my tire sensor. I went to try to pass emissions as soon as I could. Emissions failed, again. When I called Don to inform him that I had failed another emissions test, he suggested that I drive my car 80 to 100 miles and then try again. I filled up my car with gas and attempted to drive 100 miles. I drove 30 miles, and my check engine light came back on. When I called Don to inform him what happened, he told me to bring the car back up there. I did. He didn’t informed me that he did not know what I needed from him as they had already fixed the recalls and gave me a oil change. I explain that the whole reason why I brought my car to him in the first place was because of my check engine light. He actually wrote it on the invoice. He then said, that when I left my car with him, the check engine light was off. It was not. The only way my check engine light goes off is if it’s reset. After going back-and-forth with him for a few minutes, he finally admitted that someone in his crew reset the check engine light before it got to him. Why would they do that before they put it on the diagnostic machine? Regardless, he felt like he did not need to put my car on the diagnostic machine if there was no check engine light, so he did not. I was devastated and confused. He did nothing at all for my check engine light. When I explained that my check engine light was the main reason why I brought my car in, he became very belligerent with me and told me that there was nothing else that they could do for me. He sarcastically told me that I should not have had OEM Cats installed, and that the only thing that they could offer was to replace those with Motorcraft catalytic converter’s. Fords brand. The cost, he said, $2000 and $3000 apiece, pluse labor. I needed 2. I am a single grandma. I turned away from the smirk on his face, and walked out of that place feeling like I had been failed. I could not understand why he did not run a diagnostic on my check engine light, as he as he had promised. Even if the light was not on when he began to check it, I feel he should’ve still checked it, is, it was the very reason why I brought my car to him in the first place. Don Alexander was not good to me. He did not take care of me or move in the best interest for me and my car. This Ford dealership is right around the corner from me. I will not be returning. When I need work done on my phone again, I will drive right past them and go to the next nearest Ford dealership that I can find. More
Called to set up a service appointment and was told they dont do it that way. I would have to bring my vehicle in and leave it indefinetly until they got to it. They have to have the vehicle physically in a dont do it that way. I would have to bring my vehicle in and leave it indefinetly until they got to it. They have to have the vehicle physically in a "line" and it could be a week or longer. I am working less than 3 miles from there and they won't simply call when it is my turn. What a narrow minded butt-backward business model. Glad I found out ahead of time. More

They informed me that I needed some major repairs due to it being an older vehicle (2006) they really out done themselves. Of course we had to do some haggling before the work could be preformed. They kept running into problems (Techs out due to COVID-19, Parts on order delayed, but at the end of the day, they came through! Cedric Johnson, Service Advisor, Michael Haywood, Service Manager, Josh & John all went above and beyond their Due Diligent to get a satisfied customer. Very disappointment.😡 I have a Mustang...stereo display went blank so I took it to the dealer.. My service manager told me to replace APIM which was functioning properly and I paid $900 for the APIM..but t went blank so I took it to the dealer.. My service manager told me to replace APIM which was functioning properly and I paid $900 for the APIM..but that didn't work ... =screen was still blank. He told me that they have to keep trying to fix car until they fixed my car and I have to pay each and every services and parts fees. I decided to take my car back but wiper wasn't functioning ..when I asked, they said I have to replace wiper motor... But wiper motor was good , wiper fuse was in wrong place. I found that they just want to replace parts without knowing what is going with a car.. SOUNDS LIKE LOOTING PEOPLE. More
