This place will rip you off! Took my vehicle there when it broke down. S.A. came and told me that the TCM had to be replaced and I'd get my truck back the next day. I went there about the end of business because I got no notice of anything. When I got there, the S.A. and technician had left for the day. I was told by someone else that my truck was not ready. They were having issues with programming the PCM. I was told they would get it programed and I should have it the next day. This time I was contacted and was told they were still having problems programming the PCM. The data link to Ford was down and they couldn't get it programed. They told me if the data link was back up, I'd get my truck Monday. Monday I was contacted and was told my truck was fixed and ready. I show up, paid the bill and go out to my truck. It would not start. Had the exact same problem it came in with. Went back in and told the S.A. that it wouldn't start. He acted like he didn't believe me and tried himself. He called a technician over and confirmed it had the same problem it came in with. The S.A. came over to me and asked if I wanted to take it there. I asked how was I going to take it somewhere else, and that I just paid for them "fixing" it, yet it wasn't fixed! He went back over to the technician, talked for a little bit, then came back to me. Told me they were going to change this part out (the same part I told them was bad) and they were going to do it for free. When they called me to pick the truck again, it started. The S.A. was not there so I couldn't get an invoice of what they did. The guy that was helping me told me that they would email the invoice to me the next day. The S.A. couldn't even bother to do that. So I went there and made them give me a copy of the invoice. What a difference in the cost!! I was too pissed to try and argue with them about it. I took the truck and went home. I did call Ford Motor Company and filed a complaint. After about a week, I still have not heard from Ford Motor Company, so I called them. They told me that the complaint was still open but I needed to speak with Five Star Ford of Warner Robins. So I went back and spoke to the Service Manager. He only wanted to refund the diagnostic part of the bill. That's only a fraction of the difference of what they did that didn't fix my truck and the cost of changing out the part I told them was the problem and that fixed my truck! I still have a complaint with Ford Motor Company, but haven't heard from them. That in itself tells me how much Ford cares about customer service. The only reason I took it to them is because I'm a disabled veteran and was not able to do the work myself. So they have no problems ripping disabled people off whatsoever! I grew up loving Fords, always had good luck with them. After this, I'll NEVER go to Five Star Ford of Warner Robins to have anything done to any vehicles nor will I ever buy a vehicle from them! As far as Ford Motor Company, I'll NEVER buy a new Ford ever again! Let me add this as well. While my truck was in the shop, they also did some recall repairs. They left the seat belt boots loose. The passenger door handle and lock is in worse condition than before they "fixed" the recall issue! Talked to a Manager and was told the customer service manager would call me. It's been almost a week now and not a single call. Now after seeing this type of workmanship, I really question what kind of work they did to the area I can't see! Just a heads up everyone!! More
Hade My Stang in for a Recall and Billy Fletcher did an amazing job. Being retired from the Car Business, I know how a service department can give you the run around. Billy doesn't at all. He tellls you the truth, he doesn't do any un-necessary upselling. He knows his cars, he not some young kid they just hired. I have dealt with him over a decade. I will continue to use their service department as long as Billy is still there. If you want the honest truth, even if iot hurts, go to Billy- he will shoot you straight. Also side not- If your a consumer, stop relying on the dealership to give you a loaner, try in advance to set it up, they dont just have cars to hand out. I handled my own situation without my car, I didnt demand it from the dealer. You know cars break down, they are man made, so prepare for this. You guys also need to update the staff on all review sites- I see people who have been gone over a decade. You dont have recent employees- and that's on most sites I went to- Thats on the ownership.
