Bill Swinford did an outstanding job selling us the Ford Edge. He was professional and thorough. He is the reason for the "Great" ratings. We had to follow up with the finance manager twice because of his mistakes. My wife and I both had to take time from work to go back and redo paperwork they messed up. It took them two weeks to pay off my trade. This cost me money in additional interest. The car was in the shop for two days out of the first five days I owned it. The dealer did not know what the problem was. I had to find a TSB online and take it to them to help them out. The hood was out of alignment and they could not fix it at the dealer. They sent me to the local Chevy dealer to have it repaired. My car smelled like gasoline on the inside when I picked it up. They had the door and windows open trying to air it out when I got there to pick it up. One of their workers (Vonda) called me at work one evening to explain to me how important it was for me to fill out the survey that Ford sends you after a purchase. She offered me a free tank of gas to bring it to them and let them do it. I think that undermines the importance of the survey. More
Well, it was the typical dealer experience. I got jerked around, told one thing, then another thing, then another. I never got the deal I was promised, and I don't think I ever talked to the same person twi around, told one thing, then another thing, then another. I never got the deal I was promised, and I don't think I ever talked to the same person twice. I was looking for an F-150 and the salesperson barely knew anything about it. You should at least know about what you are selling. The whole trip there was a waste of time. Don't even bother going there. More
