Before buying the truck (2019 Ford Raptor) I asked the sales person if there was anything I needed to know about the vehicle that I would need to service after I bought the truck. He indicated that there sales person if there was anything I needed to know about the vehicle that I would need to service after I bought the truck. He indicated that there was not. After I get the truck home, I take it to the local Ford dealership and had the truck inspected. Technician said that the rear shocks were blown out, and that is why I heard a loud noise coming from the rear end when going over rail road tracks. He also said that the driver side turbo had a leak and would need to be repaired. The driver side rear window had a broken modulator so the window would not go all the way up. The tech indicated that I had about $10k is repairs that needed to be made. I feel like there was a large deficit of integrity from the people that sold me this truck. I would not buy from this dealership again. There is a reason why used car sales people have a bad reputation, and this is a perfect example of why people don't trust them. If buying used, I would suggest you take your business elsewhere. More

The finance guy said one thing then put different numbers on the paperwork and didn’t provided copies of the paperwork on the flash drive he gave me. While I was purchasing my second vehicle this year, my son was texting me to come home and take him to get medical care. I quickly went through everything and after getting medical treatment for my son, I reviewed the documents on the flash drive. I ended up calling the dealership to get someone to send me documents and still don’t think I have them all. Upon closer inspection of the paperwork there were multiple discrepancies. I was told I’d have to come into the dealership. I went to cancel the warranties the next day because they were almost three times higher than what we discussed. There were extra charges that I still have no idea what there’re for. One of them, he said was something that’s on all vehicles. So if it’s standard on all vehicles it’s included in the price. No response. I explained that I was not provided with the financial documents, he replied with “yes you were”. No I wasn’t, I had to call and get some of them. He then replies with “well I’m looking at them right now so you should have them”. I explained the flash drive he gave me had 72 pages of which I went through multiple times, there were 3 copies of every warranty and the last 3 pages of the file contained two of the financial documents that’s didn’t add up. He just looked at me. When I confronted him about the over charging of the warranties, he said oh it was a misunderstanding. Umm, no it wasn’t and I did a replay of our conversation from just a few days prior. He had told me “this is a good deal, hear me out, it’s only 3 extra payments”. I said “so around $4k” and he’s said “no, just over $3k”. Imaging my surprise when I found out he charged me $10,475. I showed him the figures and ask “does this look like $3k?” Nothing. Then when I confronted him about adding $500 to the price of the vehicle, he argued with me that the price ended in 640 and I argued no it didn’t, that it ended in 140. He still continued to argue, so I told him I have the post one of the salesmen posted on Facebook about the vehicle. He said nothing. Then the trade in which I was told they would give me $12,790 for my trade in, yet he only gave me $12,000 on the paperwork. He said the difference was tax avoidance. I argued and said no it wasn’t, I was told that was the amount they would give me for my trade in and there was never any discussion about tax avoidance (whatever the heck that is) and asked to see the half sheet of paper I signed with the amounts on them (because the full page paper was not the one I signed and this one had a bunch of numbers added to the bottom and right side. Again, nothing. Apparently it’s in the trash because no one can provide it, I asked two people for it. He said I”you agreed to this price”, pointing to the figure that ended with 140 (not the 640 he charged me). I said “exactly, that is the price I agreed to but that’s not what you charged me”. He said he could only cancel the warranties. So I guess I get to eat the extra cost. Unbelievable the lack of integrity and then argue with me. What happened to honesty and taking care of customers? Someone who’s been a loyal customer of Five Star, purchasing 6 vehicles in the past 6 years made a huge mistake in trusting this company to treat me right and make it right after being confronted about what they did. Nope! They just lost multiple customers because I’m telling everyone I know in hopes they won’t be taken advantage of like I was. I also had another vehicle on order which I’m canceling to do business with a different dealership. More

I’ve only owned the vehicle for two days so this review is for the dealership not the vehicle. My experience thus far with five star Ford has been excellent. The salesman Tim Denton was great to deal with, his manager Nathaniel King was awesome also, ( although I still can’t figure out how this ex-New Yorker got a southern accent 😀) Quentin Mitchell in finance was extremely helpful and honest and the auto delivery guy Rex was an amazing guy. Again it’s only been 2 days but so far my experience is five stars.. More
