I have to say that this was the most ridiculously horrible dealership experience I have ever had. I think that dishonestly must be in the job description to work here. To start off, I saw an advertisement for the 2011 Chevy Cruze for $14800 and sent an email inquiry about it (which specifically stated that I would prefer to be contacted by email)- I recieved a call before 8:00 in the morning the next day from a woman named Anita (which is rude in my standards considering I have to young children that were blissfully sleeping in that morning) asking when I wanted to come look at the new cruze. I said I just wanted some info about the special pricing such as "Which Cruzes are covered under that price". She said "They are manuals- when do you want to come look at them?". I said "You're inventory is online- which ones specifically are covered under this price?". She said "Well we don't have any left for that price- but I can get you in one for $17000". So from the get go- she tried to get me to the dealership under the presumption that I would be getting a price that she knew good and well I wouldn't. Why I actually went to this dealership after the first round of lies is beyond me, but I did. I told the salesman that I wanted to get a price for what they would pay for my trade-in first of all, and if it was what I owed, we would go look at the cars for sale. He took my keys saying that the "guys" would look at it in just a minute, why don't we go look around while they were assessing it? Ok- fine. We tell him what we can pay and what year we wanted (assuming they will cover the trade-in) and he lists quite a few cars that he "thinks" will be right in our budget- never giving us an actual price. He wants to let us test drive a few- all I want to know is how much they'll give us for our trade in, otherwise it's irrelevant. I keep asking, he keeps walking off, leaving us in an office, or changing the subject. To make a long story short, they didn't want to give us what we owed on the trade (which was like pulling teeth to actually get the man to say. He was still trying to get us to pick out a car regardless of the fact that we couldn't afford it if we couldn't sell the other one) so we asked for our keys so we could go. Instead of giving us our keys, they send another man out to smooth-talk us into using the in-house financing to twist the figures (basically covering what we owed on the trade and adding to the price of the car we would choose) and stetching our payment out for a much longer amount of time (which is just dumb any way you cut it). We already had financing through our bank with a great interest rate. So after 30 minutes of being manipulated by this guy, we tell them once again- No thank you, I want my keys so we can go. So then they send the big guy out (general manager if I understand correctly) who wastes even more of our time before I demand once again for somebody to get my keys! I swear, these guys must take a class in the art of manipulation. I will NEVER, EVER EVEN STEP FOOT IN THE PARKING LOT OF THIS PLACE. I will even take my repairs elsewhere, the drive is well worth not endorsing these people. If you want honesty and integrity from a dealership- don't even think of going here. I only gave them 1 star because zero wasn't an option. We ended up buying our car from Woody Butts Chevrolet in Cochran and I cannot even begin to say what a different experience it was from Five Star! Woody Butts gave us such a great price and experience and didn't make us feel pressured in the least- they honestly tried to help us and make us happy- they have earned a return customer in me. More
I bought a new car from Five Star Chevrolet and Shawn St. Hill was the first to greet me. The first round of numbers they gave me included a $2000 down payment and a $450 a month car payment, on a $16,000 ca Hill was the first to greet me. I literally laughed and walked out the door, but the Shawn said ok what do you want to pay for this 2011 Chevy Cruze. I said no more than $300 a month. He said im going to get you this car. So I sat back down and a second round of numbers came out. This time it included $0 down and a $350 a month payment, pretty good decrease from the first round, but still not where I wanted to be. Finally, I got a third round of numbers which included $0 down and a $287 car payment at 72 months. So of course I jumped on that. I highly recommend working with Shawn St. Hill if you want to be satisfied. Just dont be afraid to walk out the door, when you do that they will immediately drop the price. More

I have been doing business with Spanky for as many years as he has worked at this dealership. My wife and I have always been extremely happy with him and we won't deal with any other salesman. Whatever price range your looking for they can get you setup, I got a great deal with them. I will only purchase vehicles from Wascar Santos or Brad Williams, they really took care of me. More

My experience with 5 Star Chevrolet started out very well. I submitted an credit application on-line and was notified within 30 minutes. After the inital call Mr.Santos returned my call and we set up an appointment over the phone. Once I got to the dealership everything was smooth sailing. My only complaint (Not the fault of employees) was the rentovation being conducted in the main building which made all the paperwork process a little timely. However, once all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed I was out of there. Mr.Santos did take the time to show me all the bell's and whistles that came with my truck. He even took the time to sync up my phone to the bluetooth option on the truck. Overall I was satisfyed with my overall trip to 5 Star Chevrolet and will recomend them to all my friends who are looking for a new vehichle. More
