I recently purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler but not from this dealership. When I received all the paperwork on the vehicle I saw that it had an outstanding recall for the clutch. I took it to Five Star in this dealership. When I received all the paperwork on the vehicle I saw that it had an outstanding recall for the clutch. I took it to Five Star in Albany and asked if they could handle the recall service. They said no problem so I made an appointment for the clutch replacement. When it took a little longer than I expected, they gave me a new loner car to use until my repairs we complete. The service and repairs were excellent. If needed I will use this service department again. More

My 2021 Jeep Grand Cheroke My issue is specifically with the Service Department, particularly the Service Manager and my service advisor, Jonathan. My 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited suddenly stopped blowing cold air, so I took it to Albany Chrysler Dodge Jeep for diagnosis. I was told that my vehicle contained "fraudulent" refrigerant and that I would have to pay out of pocket for a complete A/C system replacement. We purchased an extended warranty that should cover this repair, but the Service Manager stated the warranty would not apply because he believed we caused the problem. My husband and I repeatedly explained that neither of us had ever added refrigerant to the vehicle or done anything to the A/C system. Instead of listening, the Service Manager accused us of buying refrigerant from a parts store and putting it in the vehicle ourselves. He said, "You all bought some refrigerant out of a parts store and put it in this truck, and now you want us to look at it." I respectfully asked if they could run the test again in case there had been user error or an issue with the equipment. He refused. He insisted there was no possibility of a mistake because the refrigerant testing device cost $10,000, and he continued to blame us for the failure. Since I knew those accusations were false, I took the vehicle to Akins Ford in Winder, Georgia, where I originally purchased it new. Seven days later, they performed the same refrigerant test using the same type of equipment. They found no fraudulent refrigerant in the system. Their staff was professional, courteous, and genuinely concerned about helping us resolve the issue. Being falsely accused of causing damage to my own vehicle and then having my warranty effectively denied based on an incorrect diagnosis was frustrating and unacceptable. The difference in professionalism between these two dealerships was night and day. Because of this experience, I will never recommend Albany Chrysler Dodge Jeep for vehicle purchases or service.
