I went to Fitzgerald VW to possibly trade in my lease early. The sales staff knew that I was just looking into my options, and they still took a lot of time helping me, answering my questions and review early. I felt no pressure to buy and they were gracious when i decided in the end to hang onto my lease (love my CC!) instead of buying a new car at this moment. I was displeased with my purchase within minutes of leaving the lot and no one at this dealership was willing to help me. Even the item that did not work after I signed the paper work I was assured th leaving the lot and no one at this dealership was willing to help me. I was talked down to, shuffled from one person to another and now completely ignored. The sales person, Nate, completely washed his hands of me. They even offered to allow me to buy my car back and would purchase my new car back at a considerably lower price within 24hrs. I warn you DO NOT ever do business at Fitzgerald Annapolis, MD. You might like their price online but they will play games with you and put the pressure on you. I paid for a addition of a tow hitch and now they are claiming its void since I resold the car. Yet they kept my money. VW HQ was no help. Buyer beware! They are even lying about the value of my trade in online. More

I recently helped my 20 year old daughter during her purchase of a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta from Fitzgerald Volkswagen of Annapolis, MD. Hands down, it was the most streamlined purchase of a vehicle that I purchase of a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta from Fitzgerald Volkswagen of Annapolis, MD. Hands down, it was the most streamlined purchase of a vehicle that I have ever experienced. The salesman, Mr. Brett Grant, made all of this possible. Prior to our arrival at the showroom, Mr. Grant not only answered many of my questions on the phone, but he promptly called back with answers to several questions requiring research. His research and broad knowledge of the Volkswagen Jetta enabled us to purchase the vehicle (including all necessary paperwork) in under 90 minutes. Many thanks to all the other professionals, including the contract manager that helped us in this purchase. All were courteous, respectful, witty and quite pleasant. Everything centered around me driving 2 hours to the point where i already had so much invested that i would almost feel compelled to follow through with the sale to justify the 4 hour round trip and investment of my time. Because that is the first impression that I received as soon as I met my dealer. And that is important. We touched upon many conversations, and the dealer was genuinely interested in having me as a customer, not just for one day, but as a long term investment. Overall Experience: Why 5? Because I liked the professionalism of your dealers and the overall selling experience. I was not pushed, and hurried into making a decision. The buying of a car, for the average person is the second biggest purchase they will ever make in their lives - the first being their house. As such monetary consideration is important, and doing it carefully is important. Thus, the patience that my dealer exerted was of a great value to me. Price: Why 5? Because, while dealers tend to mark the prices of the cars up in order to make a profit (they have to stay in business after all), it was well within reasonable bounds. Prices were clear, and I could see what was included and what was not. Information is important for decision making, and it was provided in a good manner. More
