No-gimmick, transparent pricing, professional dealership I had already decided on a Hyundai Santa Fe by the time I contacted Fitzgerald Lakeforest Hyundai of Gaithersburg, but anything that I found close to I had already decided on a Hyundai Santa Fe by the time I contacted Fitzgerald Lakeforest Hyundai of Gaithersburg, but anything that I found close to me was in black or white or did not have everything that I wanted. Fitzgerald Hyundai had the AWD Santa Fe Ultimate with ultimate technology package in a color that I liked, AND had an excellent price without the tricks that so many other dealers pull around the Washington D.C. area, such as adding every possible discount that no person could possibly combine. Fitzgerald advertised a great dealer discount and Hyundai incentives that anyone could use BEFORE listing additional potential discounts that Hyundai would add. Erol Mutlu caught my call and sealed the deal over the phone in a matter of minutes. He is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Sophia in F&I was also professional and friendly and very efficient. She did not make a hard sell on aftermarket add-ons like maintenance plans because I stated clearly that I really had not done the research but trusted Hyundai's lengthy warranty as well, however explained them. I did purchase a tire and wheel insurance plan from Zurich through them that was an excellent deal at about $60/year given the price of wheel replacement. I had previously experienced wheel damage due to road resurfacing and had to replace very expensive wheels, so for just over $15 per tire AND wheel per year for five years, as a skeptical person, I assessed it as a great deal. I am a VA resident but was willing to drive to Gaithersburg to get the best price, without the freight scam or massive dealer documentation fees that VA dealers commonly add, but I concede that all Hyundai dealers I contacted did not play tricks with freight as dealers of other makes did. Mr. Mutlu explained all the features in a professional, friendly, comfortable manner. With the attitude and tricks that Lindsay Ford (Wheaton, MD) tried to pull, I was very thankful to settle on a Sante Fe and ultimately purchase at Fitzgerald. I would drive 50 minutes again for another purchase. More
