We wanted a used Hyundai Sonata/Elantra, 2010 model in good condition with Hyundai's warranty.We came in not sure if this was the right place to finalize our deal, since we already had Enterprise Dealersh good condition with Hyundai's warranty.We came in not sure if this was the right place to finalize our deal, since we already had Enterprise Dealership offer us an excellent trade in value for our used car "to get out business today". Erol was our sales person at Fitsgerald, Gaithsburg, and he was kind and patient, and showed us the cars they had. We immediately noticed that the prices that Fitzgerald put up were not "marked up" and then negotiated down. Instead, they had put up the correct values of the car. One thing that initially bothered us was that FITZG was not matching the price of the trade in value of our old car with Enterprise. Instead they gave us what was the correct value of the car. We left the dealer and were trying to weigh our options, if to go back to Enterprise. However, on an analysis we realized that we were not only getting a cheaper deal but also a more reliable car (with 10 year/100000 miles warranty + 5 year bumper to bumper). We also noticed that other dealerships were advertising "Hyundai Certified" cars, but when you went there, they would charge you 600 $ additionally to do the certification!!! In summary, I must say that Fitzgerald offered us a great car, for excellent price (with NO HIDDEN COSTS) and an excellent warranty. Not only that Erol, who was our sales person was very informed, and came out as honest and straightforward in the dealings. Matt made our paperwork very smooth, and was very patient in answering all our queries. We are very happy with the service we received from Erol and Matt. Overall, I would highly recommend anyone buying a car to try Fitzgerald first. More

I was looking to buy a new 2011 Toyota Camry and my father had told me to go to Fitzgerald as he never shops anywhere else for a car. Since I needed a car right away, I first went to Toyota in Waldorf father had told me to go to Fitzgerald as he never shops anywhere else for a car. Since I needed a car right away, I first went to Toyota in Waldorf which is closer and figured all dealerships were the same anyway. Well, it was a complete waste of time. They showed me used Camry's that were in awful condition and the new Camry's they showed me were way overpriced. I spent 5 hours there until I was so worn down I just left. The next weekend, I decided to take my father's advice and go to Fitzgerald's. Well, it was the best decision I have ever made. Lisa Lam was the dealer who helped me. She was by far the best auto dealer I have ever dealt with. She was not pushy by any means and I felt like she genuinely wanted to get me into a car that was just right for me. She was very patient and spent hours on me even though the dealership was crazy busy. I was not totally prepared and did not have all the paperwork I needed, but she still made the process easy and convienent for me. Fitzgerald also offered me more money on my trade-in than the other dealership and I walked away feeling really good about the deal I got. Usually I regret the cars I have bought in the past, but I definitely do not regret this one. I will never and I mean NEVER shop for a car anywhere else! A:Our dealing with the sales rep started as an internet quote, and quickly progressed from there. Ms Dunkins was professional, competent and friendly, without being pushy. Her demeanor on the internet, and telephone was the pivotal reason we came to this dealer. B:After we agreed on a car, and price, I did have to dig my heels in with an additional sales rep that strongly recommended a couple of dealer add ons that I had no interest in, but hey, the guy's just doing his job. C:While dealing with the financial department, I again had to respectfully decline to purchase other dealer insurance type of offerings for the care of the car. Ms. Dunkins was a pleasure to deal with, as were the other 2 folks that I had contact with, but I could have done without steps "B" & "C," thus only 4 stars on two of the ratings categories. More

I have purchased four vehicles from Fitzgerald, and will never deal with anyone else in the future. I have nothing but praise for this dealership. When Chrysler took away their Gaithersburg dealdership, I wrote to Chrysler and indicated that move meant I would not be purchasing any more Chrysler vehicles. This is a reputable dealership, that provides excellent customer service and makes purchasing a vehicle enjoyable. I hope that Mr. Fitzgerald continues to keep these standards in place despite all of the economic pressure to perhaps do something different. My son is now in the market for a GMC pick-up and I have suggested he only deal with Fitzgerald. More
