I was looking to buy a new 2011 Toyota Camry and my father had told me to go to Fitzgerald as he never shops anywhere else for a car. Since I needed a car right away, I first went to Toyota in Waldorf father had told me to go to Fitzgerald as he never shops anywhere else for a car. Since I needed a car right away, I first went to Toyota in Waldorf which is closer and figured all dealerships were the same anyway. Well, it was a complete waste of time. They showed me used Camry's that were in awful condition and the new Camry's they showed me were way overpriced. I spent 5 hours there until I was so worn down I just left. The next weekend, I decided to take my father's advice and go to Fitzgerald's. Well, it was the best decision I have ever made. Lisa Lam was the dealer who helped me. She was by far the best auto dealer I have ever dealt with. She was not pushy by any means and I felt like she genuinely wanted to get me into a car that was just right for me. She was very patient and spent hours on me even though the dealership was crazy busy. I was not totally prepared and did not have all the paperwork I needed, but she still made the process easy and convienent for me. Fitzgerald also offered me more money on my trade-in than the other dealership and I walked away feeling really good about the deal I got. Usually I regret the cars I have bought in the past, but I definitely do not regret this one. I will never and I mean NEVER shop for a car anywhere else! A:Our dealing with the sales rep started as an internet quote, and quickly progressed from there. Ms Dunkins was professional, competent and friendly, without being pushy. Her demeanor on the internet, and telephone was the pivotal reason we came to this dealer. B:After we agreed on a car, and price, I did have to dig my heels in with an additional sales rep that strongly recommended a couple of dealer add ons that I had no interest in, but hey, the guy's just doing his job. C:While dealing with the financial department, I again had to respectfully decline to purchase other dealer insurance type of offerings for the care of the car. Ms. Dunkins was a pleasure to deal with, as were the other 2 folks that I had contact with, but I could have done without steps "B" & "C," thus only 4 stars on two of the ratings categories. More

While the Lakeforest Gaithersburg showroom is quite a distance from our home, we willingly made the trip after having visited several closer dealerships where we did not receive the efficient, professional and helpful service of the Fitzgerald staff. Mr Yadi Najafi is awesome. He really helped me a lot, not like others where wasting more time to and fro with the price settlement. When Chrysler took away their Gaithersburg dealdership, I wrote to Chrysler and indicated that move meant I would not be purchasing any more Chrysler vehicles. This is a reputable dealership, that provides excellent customer service and makes purchasing a vehicle enjoyable. I hope that Mr. Fitzgerald continues to keep these standards in place despite all of the economic pressure to perhaps do something different. My son is now in the market for a GMC pick-up and I have suggested he only deal with Fitzgerald. More

We primarily worked with the sales consultant Rob Friedson, and he was absolutely terrific. He was always honest, kind, no-nonsense, and no-pressure. Every interaction we had from phone call to text message to face-to-face exemplified respect, integrity, and community. I thought he must have been a unique gem, but I was happy to discover, he came from a good family ---- his manager Garith: excellant; his colleague Ali Shirazi (who helped us with a test drive and consulted for us extensively as well on car selection): pure gold; the financial consultant Erica: absolute delight. I didn't have to worry about price or quality because the system and philosophy that underlies their dealership is truly one that puts their clients first. I drove past 10 Toyota dealerships to deal with these folks, and I recommend anyone looking for a new Toyota do the same. I initially found their Toyota listings online, and I e-mailed to inquire about pricing. John e-mailed me back very quickly. I was busy with some other things at the time, and didn't respond immediately, so a few days later, he called me, which was the perfect timing. So we were able to set up an appointment on the phone to come by to look at the car options. We went there intending to first check out the Toyotas, and then go check out Mazdas at another dealership. And although my preferred car going in was a Mazda (my husband's was Toyota), well, John and Kevin just won me over so that we never even made it to the Mazda place, even though we've owned two Mazdas in the past and I really like Mazda, and we have never owned a Toyota! Here's what won us over: 1) John and Kevin are really great to work with. John is very responsive and knowledgeable, but there was no hard, pushy selling going on here by either of them. I understand this is because the salesmen get a fixed commission per car, regardless of the value of the car sold. So they don't need to push you towards a more expensive car, that you don't actually want or need. We liked that. 2) The dealership price matches any other verifiable price. So there's really no point driving a long way to another dealer. Plus, we love our new Toyota Camry! My husband was the one who really wanted a new car, but a month later, I'm more excited about it than he is! It drives really smooth, and it is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COLOR BLUE EVER... I highly recommend FitzMall/Fitzgerald Toyota Scion Gaithersburg. Ask for John Albright! More
