Shout out to service rep Chris Moran, who was terrific in overseeing the service of my 2015 Hyundai Accent. Professional, personable, knowledgeable, honest. Couldn't ask for more. We own a 2017 Santa Fe, which we bought at Fitzgerald‘s. All of a sudden no sound came from the radio, and we brought it in to the service department. They did a diagnostic test and charged us Fitzgerald‘s. All of a sudden no sound came from the radio, and we brought it in to the service department. They did a diagnostic test and charged us $220, fair enough, and identified the problem as a blown amplifier that needed to be replaced. They said the part would be $1500 and would take them two hours to remove the old one and install a new one which would result in a charge of $550, about $2000 all in all. When I got home I went online and found the OEM part at full retail for $850 about half of what they were charging. Note this was full retail from the OEM. This was not some secondhand or discount part. I ordered the part and having no particular skill in car repair or radio repair I removed the old amplifier and installed a new one in approximately 15 minutes. There were three easy to reach bolts that needed to be removed the wire harness that was unplugged and then plugged back into the new one. Fitzgerald was going to charge double the full retail price for the part and then either it’s service department is as incompetent as can be if it was going to take their skilled professionals two hours to do what it took a rookie novice 15 minutes to do or they were simply overcharging by billing for two hours what was a 15 minute job. In any event, we certainly will never go back to the service department, where they grossly overcharge for parts and labor. PS I ended up buying the part on eBay for $350 and it works fine. More
First of all, I’m a customer. I purchased a new vehicle and the customer service in the Service department is horrendous. P.S. still waiting on a return call about an issue with my vehicle since I picked it up (3) days ago. More
Horrible sales team and even worse service department. Service staff are surly and dour. I thought it might just be me, but a customer walked in and greeted everyone with a hello and a smile and no one even looked up or said anything. Customer service is not a concept with which they appear to be familiar. They were consistently terrible about communicating updates. If your specific representative is unavailable, they are unable to acce to be familiar. They were consistently terrible about communicating updates. In spite of several days advance notice that I was coming to pick up my car, it took 45 minutes for them to get it out of the parking lot. And finally, when I returned a voice mail inquiring about the quality of my service (!) I was transferred 4 times (IT? Sales? Another location altogether?); I never did reach customer service. This is one dysfunctional organization. More
This dealer has taken two and a half hours on an oil change, and the car isn’t even ready yet. I had an appointment and arrived for the appointment ten minutes early to check in. 7 minutes agoNEW-Edit Horrible Service! !!!!!!!!! I was having issues with my vehicle that this location was unable to resolve. Also, my car was not given back to me in the condition I gave !!!!!!!!! Also, my car was not given back to me in the condition I gave it to the dealership in do to that I requested a manager and was directed to John Neitzey the service manager who was extremely disrespectful and not welcoming at all. John Neitzey comes off VERY RACIST with his tone and demeanor how he spoke to me was completely unacceptable. I've been to this location a few times and never had any issues until now. John Neitzey made me feel highly uncomfortable like I was not valued as a customer or PERSON. I'm not sure why Fitzgerald Auto would have such a NASTY individual working for them and as a manager at that. I'm writing this review in hopes that it will help Mr. John work on his customer service skills and the way he speaks to others. Being as though I wasn't able to address my issues and concerns with him because he walked off as I was talking. More
Purchased a used car recently. The car had some paint issues but as part of the purchase they agreed to fix them. I dropped the car off a few days after the purchase. They've now had my car for nearly 2 issues but as part of the purchase they agreed to fix them. I dropped the car off a few days after the purchase. They've now had my car for nearly 2 weeks and I have no idea when I'll get it back. I've called each day and every day they say it will be ready the following day. The next day when I call to see if I can pick the car up they say it isn't ready and will be ready the next day. This has gone on 5 days in a row. I was told I would hear from the service manager the last 2 days but no word. Pretty awful service so far outside of actually buying the vehicle. Tong and Leo were great. That said I'm glad I didn't purchase the service package they tried pushing on me when I bought the car. Just awful service department experience so far. More
