I am a proud Grandfather of an 18-year-old grandson (Koedy Reitz) that is leaving next month for the USAF! I am also a retired superintendent of Ford Motor Company of 30 years!. My grandson bought a 20 (Koedy Reitz) that is leaving next month for the USAF! I am also a retired superintendent of Ford Motor Company of 30 years!. My grandson bought a 2017 Ford Fusion from you a month ago, it is now in a Ford Garage for a blown head gasket! Your dealership in my opinion took complete advantage of this young man and will not stand behind the junk you sell! This vehicle with only 77000 miles on it. should not of been sold in this condition, if your dealership would of serviced it properly you would have found upcoming issue with this vehicle, BLOWN HEAD GASKETS don't just happen, there are issues that lead up to it, and your team sold this car to my grandson knowing it was going to lead to a major repair, I believe your team were hoping they would get to repair it and take further advantage of him! If your dealership would of repaired, it before sold it would have lowered your profit margin and you weren't having that! I am the one paying for the repairs, and I live in Ohio, or I'd be at your dealership having a real issue with your Team! This vehicle is now at a Ford Dealership I can trust. It explains why your reviews are so bad and I will write one on every social media platform you advertise on. When my grandson tried to rectify this situation with your service department, they told him "You should have bought the extended warranty! Really, 8000.00 for extended warranty, what 18-year-old kid can afford that? Then the service department not willing to work with him on the repairs, tell him get a lawyer then if you don't like it! Just a heads up, I am taking that advise, I have a very good friend that has a law practice and will be contacting them for advice. I hope this review is read by potential customer's that are thinking about purchasing anything from your dealership and they have second thoughts and go elsewhere. Took 2 weeks to get appt. For work not urgent okay with that but when had other work done always at least 2 week wait for appt. Had what we thought was differential leak but was front axle needed replacing, no chance of loaner car. Appropriate work done. Within 2 weeks several warning lights came on (ABS, BRAKE LIGHTS, and few others). Dealership notified, told 2 weeks before it could be looked at. Who would want to drive a car like that. No chance of being seen any sooner. Jeep taken to another facility where it was found a cable had not been replaced correctly causing all the issues. Lot of inconvenience had to get another car to drive while being serviced. Called in November spoke with R Batista service manger and was told wanted refund not service credit and told he would have to look into it and would “take some time”. Never contacted us, gave him benefit of the doubt and called him January 5. He was waiting for us to call. Told again wanted refund not service credit. He admitted to negligence on part of technician would reimburse. Gave him name and number of the mechanic who fixed the issue. Sent an email with reimbursement amount then 1 hour later send another email with an amount significantly less. Yes he was responsive when I reached out but heard “I apologize for that” so many times it sounded insincere and the inconsistencies make the dealership untrustworthy. Mr Batista said he wished he would have known at the time of the problem he could have addressed this much sooner. No one ever offered to speak to a service manager when we couldn’t get an appointment for 2 weeks or the issues occurring right after work by their technician. Would NOT recommend this dealership. Donna was fantastic , she explained to me my different options ,she took her time to show me every little thing in the car. You can tell the girl knows her job very well and she is amazing! Mr. Franks is very up front about the vehicles issues that need to be addressed and will give you an approximate time of how long it should take to fix the issue. All the maintenance on my vehicle has resolved in a timely manner, and I was always aware of the status of my vehicle, whether an oil change or a total brake job. I am on my own, so I decided to wait for my vehicle when I needed the brakes done. Mr. Franks explained the approximate length of time the job would take, a couple of hours, I was okay with that. They offered me the shuttle services at any time I might need them. They were all exceedingly kind and attentive, it made me feel appreciated and that they cared about my time and comfort. Mr. Franks made it a point to make sure I was aware of what stage my vehicle was in every hour, on the hour. I know, I was not his only customer, but he made me feel that way. Every time I take my car in for maintenance no matter minor, they always make sure they return the car to me looking like it just came off the show room floor. Heck, it looked better than the day I bought it. They made the wheels shine! It made me smile. More
