Doug, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today. Since our conversation, I have had an opportunity to speak with your salesperson. He does sell out of our Previously Owned Showroom. He did state that he told the manager you were interested in Nav for the vehicle as the manager was walking through the showroom. In speaking to the manager involved, he confirmed this chain of events and stated he provided the cost was approximately $400.00 and since he was not behind the desk he never looked up the vehicle; and assumed that the salesperson had checked and it was not already equipped with the chip. When our lead manager was speaking with you, he was readily able to verify that you should have been provided with the chip. I inquired about the process for the chips and he stated that the chips are kept with the extra key and manual and should have been with the packet the day of delivery. Since the chip was missing it added to the confusion; if it had been in the packet, your salesperson would have seen it and provided it to you. We make a welcome call and email contact information for our department, as well as our technology expert, so customers will have the necessary tools should they have any questions; and unfortantely your concern did not come to our attention at that time. On behalf of the entire team, we do apologize for the confusion and appreciate your comments in regards to Josh Gillions and his responsiveness to your concern and providing you with a resolution the same day it came to his attention. Mitch is very apologetic for the whole situation; and this provided a coachable moment for all. We look forward to partnering with you to take care of your Mazda 6 and look forward to seeing you and your wife at your routine maintenance appointments.
