I just bought a new honda crossfire from fischer honda in boulder. It was such a surprisingly wonderful experience. Tom Thomass was my salesperson and he was exceptional. It's a family owned business, which definitely comes through in their sales approach. I did a lot of car shopping last weekend and went to a lot of different dealerships. Fischer honda really stood out from the rest. Tom Thomass and everyone else at Fischer were so accommodating, they helped me out on the price and gave me a great deal, and they really made it a pleasant experience overall. Best dealership experience ever! Everyone was friendly and helpful. There was no pressure or gimmicks. I went in there expecting a long drawn out battle of pushing numbers back and forth and that was not and helpful. There was no pressure or gimmicks. Brownlow has been my contact in the Honda Service Dept. for several years. He has always been helpful (answers my questions), friendly (smiles all the time), accommodating (looks things up for me), and pat for several years. Jeff (can't remember his last name - probably because it's really not worth remembering) was one of the worst sales people I have ever dealt with. For example, Jeff commented that he couldn't wait to get off work so he could go have a gin and tonic, he was rude and abrupt when talking to us and he (and his manager) refused to negotiate the price of the car I was interested in as well as the amount they would give me for my trade-in. Their initial offer for my car was $2600 below the NADA "Rough Trade-in", and my car which is in relatively good condition with very low miles. It's not perfect to say the least, but their initial offer was absolutely ridiculous. When I said their initial offer was too low, they asked to run my credit in order to come up with a different figure. I didn't mind them running my credit, but when I asked what running my credit had to do with their offer on my car, Jeff couldn't provide any explanation and was pretty rude in his response to me. He asked me what I wanted for my trade-in and gave him an amount that was $850 below the NADA "Clean Trade-in" value. I asked for this amount because they wouldn't reduced the list price on the car I was interested in. I understand they have to make money, but I think this was a very fair deal as the car I was looking at was only $75 below the NADA "Clean Retail" value, but it was far from being great condition. Anyway, I am thoroughly unimpressed with Fisher Honda and will never go back. They're just not worth the time. More
We were told by the tire shop that our civic needed shocks and struts. We asked Brownlow how much it would cost to replace shocks and struts (approx $1,000.00) but he told us tire stores tend to overl shocks and struts.
