This Dealership in a Nutshell - Two Words: Absolutely Fantastic!! After having driven my first Honda--a 2002 Honda CR-V--in South Africa for the past two years (State Dept Foreign Service/US Embassy Pretoria), I had enjoyed driving the car so much that I finally decided it was time to buy my first brand new automobile--a 2012 Honda CR-V. Where to begin all the way from South Africa - next Post soon to be US Consulate Frankfurt, Germany. 1. Built out the specs I wanted on the Honda Website. 2. Call Mom and let her know I'm coming home on Home Leave and want to buy one. 3. Mom calls the Longmont Honda Dealership and they weren't very friendly or helpful to her. 4. Mom decides to call the Fisher Honda Dealership in Boulder, and Mr. Tom Tomass answers and was immediately friendly and very helpful to her and asks her to have me send him the specs I'm lookin' for. So, I did! And, the rest is well,... pretty doggone awesome!!! Tom was outstanding to work with! I emailed him the specs I wanted (fully-loaded EX-L with lots of extras), let him know the date I'd arrive back into town, and he ordered the CR-V, had the extras installed at the Dealership, and had it ready for me to pick up when I got there. We even worked out the financing, et al., in advance of arrival and picking up the car at Fisher Honda was just SO easy and hassle-free simply because of his consistency and follow-up with me all the way up to when I got there. We had interacted via email from South Africa since March 2012 and I had to rely on him to keep me posted and deliver the product I was asking for. And, HE DID! And, he did a GREAT JOB getting me exactly what I asked for! I couldn't be more pleased with the vehicle and his OUTSTANDING, Very Well Done, Customer Service to assist a person he just had to trust would actually follow-through from South Africa for what she was asking for at pickup in Boulder in June 2012! Thanks SO MUCH, TOM, for your super assistance and outstanding help! Like they say in South Africa! It was a PLEASURE to work with you and I highly recommend you to all who want to buy a car from Fisher Honda/Kia in Boulder, Colorado! Hat's Off and Mega-Kudos, Dude!!! More

I have had threee Honda CRV over the years so the Accord was quite different. We met Jeff Tomko and explained the situation. A new CRV was out financially for me. Jeff checked Fisher's used inventory, which was limited with the exception of one older CRV. With Jeff's expertise and his interest in fulling my wishes, I am now the very happy owner of the above-mentioned CRV. We completed the paperwork in record time due again to Jeff's commemdable knowledge and understanding. It is so rewarding to find individauls in this day and age that listen and enjoy their work in helping others find satisfactin. Jeff is unique! Fisher Auto is fortunate in their exceptional Sales and Service empolyees. More

I was interested in a new Honda Odyssey and received an internet quote from two dealers including Fisher Honda. I was not in any rush to buy but set out to investigate the minivan. My first stop for a t internet quote from two dealers including Fisher Honda. I was not in any rush to buy but set out to investigate the minivan. My first stop for a test drive was not at Fisher Honda but at another dealer. That dealer had only one LX model on the lot and didn't want to budge from the internet quote, a price , it seemed to me, that anyone (with good or bad credit coming in off the street) could obtain. I did like the vehicle but was put off by the lack of negotiation by a new sales person who had to get everything OKd by his invisible boss. On the other hand, Justin had given me a lower internet quote and personally contacted me to assure me he would go out of his way to make me a deal. Actually, Fisher Honda's delivery/handling charge was higher than the first dealer by about the same amount as their internet quote was lower. So, the two prices were a wash. However, I felt that Justin was more personable and certainly more knowledgable about the product. It became clear that neither dealer was going any lower on the price so I was about to walk. Finally Justin offered a small reduction to where the Fisher deal was bout $50 more than the other. The Fisher deal did include a few extras that really weren't significant to me, but I took their offer because I felt more comfortable with Fisher and I had previous experience with their service department on my 2004 Odyssey. Ultimately, I decided that if I couldn't reduce their offer, I would insist on my preferred color. Fisher Honda also had only one LX model on their lot, in a color that I wasn't wild about but would have accepted for perhaps a $200 reduction in price. So, Justin personally drove to a dealer 50 miles away to swap cars for the color I wanted. I thought that was a feather in his cap. One more issue should be mentioned. I was transferring my Illinois License from my old Odyssey and this was the first time I purchased a car out of state, in this case Colorado. The first dealer said they couldn't do it and it would be my responsibility to contact the Illinois DMV. Fisher said they do it all the time and did effect the transfer. A slight glitch did occur. In the process of sales person to business manager to the secretary who actually processed the paperwork, instead of a transfer of my old plates a new set of plates was ordered at an extra cost to me of $74. After catching this error, I did have to return to Fisher to reprocess three forms. I still haven't figured out why all the fees (including the plate transfer) were included in the part of the purchase that was financed instead of the roughly $8000 I was paying in cash. Then that $74 could have just been refunded and and the extra time reprocessing could have been avoided. Overall, I felt that the experience with Fisher Honda and particularly, Justin Kowatch, was a good one. I wish there had been more LX models on the lot since I counted 40 or 50 EX models. I realize there is more dealer profit on the higher end models but I simply can't justify the extra cost ($7000 and up) for a few bells and whistles that don't justify the added cost. I have been a loyal Honda customer since 1977 but am a bit disappointed in Honda for the way they are pricing new models. I don't mind the extra cost for EX and up models and, to be sure, my LX has many new features that my 2004 Odyssey didn't. However, I don't like that Honda removed, from the LX model, features that were already included on my older LX Odyssey. For example, rear passenger A/C controls are not on the 2012 LX (only the EX) while they were standard on my 2004 LX. The middle seats on my 2004 LX had a variety of configurations but that feature in 2012 is available only on the EX and up. The LX has one option, . . in or out for the middle seats. There are more but this is already too long. So, in some ways I have taken a step backwards in features. I hate to think that Honda is evolving into the old American car model where literally everything is an option, just so the initial price of the vehicle can be lower in the advertisements. I am also forwarding this to the American Honda Corp. More
