Our recent experience at Fisher Honda working with Dennis Olmsted to purchase a CR-V was very positive with Dennis being professional and friendly with a sense of humor. First of all I have tried repeatedly to purchase a car here and am unable to do so. I have excellent credit and have owned my home in Boulder for over 20 years and have owned Hondas for as many. This last time I was going to by a CR-V and wanted to support the local Honda dealership. I believed they had the car I wanted but it turned out that the car was already reserved. I understood this. However, the salesman insisted I give them $1000 down merely to do a "search". I spoke to at least 3 other dealers and not one asked for this merely to do a search. One dealer had the car coming in and I paid $500 to reserve this car and was given the VIN number. I found Fisher to be insulting as my credit is A+ and I have purchased 2 of my last 3 Hondas in cash and my last one through an excellent loan I received and yet Fisher Honda manages to find a way to insult me even though I have been in the business world for many years. Despite this, I decided I would have my CR-V serviced at Fisher. I decide to have the body side moldings installed through the dealer even though I knew it would be more costly. Big mistake on my part as they had me bring the car in at 9:00 AM and I did agree to leave it there until 4:00 but I believed it was because this would be a better way to do the install. By 2:00, I called and my car had not been touched. Clearly not a priority even though the cost to me would be greater than an oil changed. I had made it clear that I intended on giving them all of my service business and had in fact been bringing my Accord in to them and had all belts replaced at great expense. That car now belongs to someone in my family and neither one of us will be bringing our cars in again. It was clear to me today that Fisher Honda does not care or want my business and yet I am the kind of person to be loyal to anyone I do business with. I believe the individuals involved were polite enough but I was clearly at the bottom of the list. This should have been made clear to me as I believe if I hadn't called the work wouldn't have been done a t all. I am not angry but baffled as over the years other dealers are happy to have good, repeat customers with good credit. I do not demand preferential treatment or complain about prices. I wanted those side moldings but it didn't matter. I have never made an given an review before. More
I first worked with Dennis Olmsted in May when I was looking for a new vehicle. He showed me the big book of vehicles and interiors and suggested vehicles for me to drive. He had me sit in several vehicles in the showroom and went over the features of each before my test drive. There was no pressure and Dennis was professional. I chose not to purchase a vehicle at that time for various reasons. I went back in December when it was necessary to purchase a vehicle. I requested Dennis based on my earlier experience. I requested to test drove the Fit and CRV. Dennis suggested I drive the LX to see if it was a good fit. After test driving other brand vehicles I decided to purchase the EX-L CRV because it made the most sense for what I needed and wanted in a new vehicle. Dennis took time to go over all the manuals, the various dials, knobs, etc. in the vehicle and set the radio to the various styles of music that I like. He was very specific about breaking in the vehicle, especially breaking and starting out as it only had seven miles on it. Purchasing my vehicle was a most pleasant experience. Everyone at the dealership was most professional and polite. In future I will definitely make Fisher Honda my first stop when it is time to purchase a new vehicle. Diann Cullen More
My girlfriend and I came in for a test drive and drove home in a new car. We had a great time, with everything well explained. We're really happy with our experience. They are very knowledgeable and they articulate what they know extremely well. Like a 5-star restaurant where all servers pitch in to take care of everybody's tables, the Fisher team really performs like a team. They put the client first and all pitch in to help. The salesperson, financial person and general manager all are good at what they do and they could readily fill-in for their teammates to keep us from having to wait for answers. And they have done a great job of follow-up - showing genuine concern that we're happy with our purchase. They went out of their way to find just the vehicle we wanted. And they were very resourceful. Somehow they were able to offer us a very competitive price with no haggling -- and great terms on our lease. Their dealership is also very comfortable and clean. While I don't expect our new car to need service for a while, when it does I'll be glad to take it to Fisher Kia. More
