A less than ideal experience with one very bright spot! We called on a weekend for a vehicle that had just arrived. DJ informed me the vehicle was not ready but he would call me and let me know as soon as We called on a weekend for a vehicle that had just arrived. DJ informed me the vehicle was not ready but he would call me and let me know as soon as it was. During this time I had looked at many vehicles trying to decide on the best for our family. A few days passed, and we heard from DJ, just as he said we would. His impeccable follow up and attention to detail really stood out compared to the other dealerships that we had worked with. DJ was very kind and not at all pushy through any of the questions we had. Our financing was in place, and since we live in Brighton and the dealership is in Boulder, DJ got to work that way we would save time once we arrived.He ensured the paperwork easy to understand and, made himself available . If he didn’t know the answer he was persistent enough to find it and call back on time. The deal became tricky when we asked to take advantage of the current Federal EV rebate on used vehicles which we qualified for. There is an option to apply as a down payment or a credit on your tax return. The finance department seemed to know very little about the program and from what we were told, ownership and management had been involved, and were told that the dealership is not participating, and would not apply the down payment credit with not much other explanation from the dealership other than the deal would not happen. By this time we were informed of this we had already traveled over an hour after our work day to complete a deal we thought was done. After the disappointment in our experience and spending 2 hours+ commuting to the dealership, we went back to the drawing board and landed a vehicle we are more than happy with. (A local broker not only applied the tax credit as our down payment but delivered to our home.) With in 24 hours of our experience with fisher Honda, DJ contacted us with news that he had gone to bat for us, and the dealership was willing to change their mind. This goes to show how much of an asset to the dealership DJ is. While the company made us feel more like a sale, DJ showed that the clients he works with are important to him and sees them as real people. This is very rare in sales these days. If given the opportunity we would absolutely work with DJ or refer anyone in search of a vehicle. More
I called his dealership inquiring about a car I saw online and luckily DJ answered I couldn't of asked for a better sales person he answered all my question was very patient with me I'm from out of sta online and luckily DJ answered I couldn't of asked for a better sales person he answered all my question was very patient with me I'm from out of state so I was able to make a deal over the phone I got approved and the next day I took a bus for a 7 hour trip to Denver and DJ on his own time and personal vehicle picked me up from the bus station and took me on a 40 min drive to Boulder to this Wonder dealership DJ and the finance team were great it was well worth purchasing my new car out of state they will be seeing me in the future for future business. My families past 5 cars were purchased at Fisher Honda in Boulder and all of my service needs are met with the service department at Fisher (specifically with Bob Brotherton - Service Rep). This time my son Boulder and all of my service needs are met with the service department at Fisher (specifically with Bob Brotherton - Service Rep). This time my son purchased a 2024 HRV with the assistance of Dennis Olmsted; Sales Representative. The assistance given by Mr. Olmsted was excellent as he spent time with my son determining his needs and preferences, resulting in the purchase of the HRV. Mr. Olmsted provided insightful and in-depth information regarding the HRV and made us all feel "at home" and comfortable. This was the most pleasurable car purchase I have ever experienced and I thank Mr. Olmsted and Neil (Finance Department) for providing us with this experience in the manner they did. More
