Lenin, I apologize for the inconvenience and incurred extra cost of taxes but I can assure you that we do not ever intentionally make mistakes on taxes. The taxing districts can be confusing and mistakes/corrections do occur and notification only occurs when the state or counties process the paperwork and then notification is sent out that time. It is frustrating for both parties. We are a 50-year business in Boulder and we care deeply about our customers and strive to make the purchase of a vehicle a great experience, but sometimes mistakes occur and in this case, it was out of our control. My business partner and vice president of the company, Lynn Fisher offices on the Acura showroom, where the situation occurred, will also assure you, that this is no place for the situations or disrespect that you have described. We/I have sat down with the salesperson involved and covered your described conversations that occurred. He indicated that he meant no disrespect and is apologetic that his comment was taken in a hurtful way because that was certainly not the intent and has learned a valuable lesson from this experience, with his agreement that they will not happen again.
