I have been with First Texas Honda since Jan 2022 and very happy with my choice. I had a service last week and very impressed with Ivan Heredia, Service Advisor. He discussed with me all the details about the service and I was out of the premises in 15mins. Beside Ivan, Mike Broderick was also very helpful. I noticed an over charged on my credit card and Mike was kind enough to credit the over charge right away. I am very happy with the service and the experience that I have so far from First Texas Honda :) More

Julian Rodriguez was amazing. He did not pressure me into buying a car. He listened to me and in the end I bought the car I wanted and felt most comfortable in. My experience with First Texas Honda has been far less than stellar. During the first week of January we put down a deposit on a CRV Sport Touring Hybrid. Our initial experience with Julian was fantastic. than stellar. During the first week of January we put down a deposit on a CRV Sport Touring Hybrid. Our initial experience with Julian was fantastic. He was very helpful and was helping another salesman draw up our reservation paperwork. We don’t place much, if any of the blame for the rest of our experience at First Texas Honda on him. Once we submitted our deposit, it felt that we were all set. The papers signed indicated a build date of 1/8 and delivery was expected mid-late February. We were informed that the VIN would be available a few days after the build date. A month went by, and First Texas Honda was radio silent. It seemed that Julian was the only one who was communicating with me, even though he wasn’t my salesman so it seemed that his hands were tied. There was no proactive communication from Honda even though we were told that any change of build date would trigger an alert which they would quickly relay to us. After three weeks with evasive and constantly changing answers, we started calling daily asking for return phone calls from our salesman, management or the “design department”. It was infuriating. Clearly First Texas Honda felt no need to keep communicating with us after receiving our deposit (which is allegedly non-refundable so buyer beware of that). We finally received one call back after a week, it was Nina from design and turns out, she only handles accessories. The main sales line started going straight to voicemail after three rings. That’s an extremely poor customer experience. Finally, my husband called and demanded an answer. He was directed to another individual, Elaina or Yalaina, who seemed irritated that we were even speaking to her at all. She informed us that the build date had been pushed twice (she confirmed it was initially 1/8, then 1/18, then 1/27. And on 1/27 she said it was a maybe it may or may not get built). So there was no way the vehicle was going to arrive by the estimated end date. We cold called the sales department again trying to get information, and were told the vehicle was not even on the production schedule. So we’re not sure if there even is a vehicle coming in. We highly recommend looking elsewhere if you’d like a positive order to delivery experience, because First Texas Honda is unable to provide even the basics of a positive customer experience when ordering OR purchasing a new Honda. The only positive things we now have to say about First Texas Honda, are towards Julien, who was always helpful through this process and if he’s solely handling the process, I’m sure would be terrific.
