This service department is BEYOND AMAZING. I was in Austin for work when on Tuesday my vehicle suddenly stopped accelerating. I tried going to a different dealership first thing Wednesday and I was in Austin for work when on Tuesday my vehicle suddenly stopped accelerating. I tried going to a different dealership first thing Wednesday and was told that they wouldn't be able to even look at my car or make a diagnosis for at least 7 days. Enter First Texas Honda, I called and the receptionist was super helpful and told me that First Texas Honda could diagnose my car in 2 days max. This was perfect as I was finishing up my work in Austin and was about to be abandoned here. I had my car towed to the service department where it was checked in later that afternoon. While looking into alternative ways to get back to Dallas by Friday for a Drs appointment I got a text message from the service department. Y'all the service technician takes a video of your car, explains the problem, and shows it on camera! This feature blew my mind, I've NEVER had any technician be this open and honest about the problem at hand. Turns out my car was leaking transmission fluid due to a loose switch. Thanks to Brian Crim's brilliance and hard work they fixed the cause of the problem, ensured that no irreparable damaged was caused to my transmission, and made sure the car was back to working order. In the end my car was ready to drive me back to Dallas Thursday afternoon which was also my last day of work in Austin. I can't thank the team at First Texas Honda enough. I wish my home dealership in Dallas provided video diagnostics! More
