She was is a showing someone from Honda corporate around the dealership so I left a voicemail. Several days later I still have not gotten a return phone call from her. When I hadn't heard from her I called her boss Lloyd and left him a voicemail about my situation that I wanted to talk to someone about. Guess what? I haven't heard from Lloyd. We've been dealing with first team Honda for 9 years and until now we have never had any serious issues period has first team been sold? Are they trying to save money so they got rid of all the people that have been there for years? Why won't they return phone calls? More
Customer for life! I have been coming to this dealer for service on my Honda for 4 yrs now...If there is ever a time where you feel like the service wasnt up to par just I have been coming to this dealer for service on my Honda for 4 yrs now...If there is ever a time where you feel like the service wasnt up to par just speak to a manager. They aim to please and appreciate their customers. That says a lot. They really do try to strive for ppl's business which is why I continue dealing with them. I went across town in Chesapeake to buy another car at another Honda dealership because First Team Honda didnt have much of a selection at the time. Worst mistake! Even with the other dealership's gimmicks of free oil changes and engine guarantees you can't beat First team Honda's attitude going above in beyond to provide excellent customer service. while they may not give you free oil change but their vehicles are already price cheaper than that competitor that it really does NOT matter. Plus how much do you really spend in oil change a year anyway? $130 if even... Not worth paying thousands in total price of a car at the other dealership. Do your research and do the math. In addition to the care, and excellent customer service you will receive at First Team Honda. Spent your hard earned dollars where a company value you as a person and not how much they can get from you. More
Update to my previous review I wrote a review on First Team Honda today because I was very upset with the service manager named Diane and the "Tires for Life" program. After I wro I wrote a review on First Team Honda today because I was very upset with the service manager named Diane and the "Tires for Life" program. After I wrote the bad review, I went to First Team Honda and spoke to the General Manager, John McDonald. I explained everything to him about how I was told I needed new tires but I would have to pay for them and they would not honor the Tires for Life. He was very nice and without any delay, he corrected the issue. He had four new tires installed on the car and covered the cost with the Tires for Life contract. Mr. McDonald was very professional and pleasant. He listened and took fair and reasonable action and turned me from being irate, to a satisfied customer. I love my ol' Honda CR-V, but someday I will have to buy another car and when I do, I'll have no doubts about buying from First Team Honda as long as Mr. McDonald is there. He gained my family's and my trust by honoring the contract and keeping us safe. Thank you. More
There more worried about getting your money then helping you First team Honda is full of cramp. The only thing they want is your money and there very unpleasant. I been to 10 dealerships in the past week and by First team Honda is full of cramp. The only thing they want is your money and there very unpleasant. I been to 10 dealerships in the past week and by far this is the worst. They lie to you and tell you things about a car that not even true. Pretty much the customer is an idiot and there car geniuses. Need to hold training on customer service, not B.S in customers. More

They tend to rush the customer into deciding on a product, beg them for high rating on their Honda Survey, and once the deal is complete their lazy Salesperson doesn't take the time to go over the features of the car with you and says read the manual. The finance representative beg the customers to purchase the extended warrany then gives the customer a guilty for not buy. If everyone on their team from sales to service would simply do their job, their would be no need to ask the customer for high survey reviews.. Basically, I would not recommend this dealership. More

I bought a When I was young I needed a car (used) every 5-10 years. Now that I am in my "golden years" I splurge and buy a new HONDA every two years. I bought all 13 Honda's from FIRST TEAM HONDA on Western Branch Blvd. My salesman, and the only one I buy my cars from, is D.A. Young. Now this guy really knows his stuff and will treat you with courtesy and dignity. D.A. is both knowledgeable and committed to getting his customers the best deal possible. I trust him explicitly. The service department is unbeatable. I don't have to spend the day waiting for my car to be ready. I love how approachable all the service staff are and the manner in which they address any issues. I never had any major problems with my cars because they are too new to have major problems but I do go in for the recommended service, free state inspections, etc. Make a visit. Talk to D.A. Young and decide for yourself. You'll be glad you did. More
Well Worth the Drive Whether You Live Near or Far Family Honda #6..my son finally traded in our 1st Honda, the '99 Accord (274,000 miles) we bought new for a used CRV. Gotta love those Hondas. First T Family Honda #6..my son finally traded in our 1st Honda, the '99 Accord (274,000 miles) we bought new for a used CRV. Gotta love those Hondas. First Team Honda did a GREAT job for us, if any LOCALS are in the market. Once Dixie-Anna (392-2048) in their internet search dept located the vehicle we were looking for, saleswoman Ashley (439-0774) took over and made sure everything went smoothly. Don't think we could have found a better deal anywhere, and we tried...lol. Would have saved time just going to First Team to begin with. We'll definitely be going back the next time we need a car. Nice to see a car dealer where pushiness is NOT the norm. More
2014 Honda Civic experience Writing this review a little late, but I was in the market a few months ago to purchase a 2014 Honda Civic. I shoppes all the local dealers on price a Writing this review a little late, but I was in the market a few months ago to purchase a 2014 Honda Civic. I shoppes all the local dealers on price and availability, First Team came in with the most competitive quote with an out the door price a few hundred (Not Much) below Hall Honda. So I proceeded to start the process of purchasing the vehicle from first Team. I was told for the price I was purchasing the vehicle ($20,500-Out the Door) they would need to order the vehicle form another dealer since the package I wanted was not on the lot, and it would take a few days to get the vehicle not a big deal right(Put a 500 dollar deposit)? Wrong! a week we went by and no calls or updated info on expected delivery, I had to call every other day to get a hold of the sales person to try and get an update but he said that the GM was working on it and that any updates would come from him. So another week goes by without any updates, so now I decide to go to the dealer and an update from the GM, waited over 20 minutes to get my sales person and then an additional 30 minutes to talk tot the GM. The GM was not helpful at all and in the end I ended up asking for my deposite back since it appeared nothing had been done to obtain the vehicle. Long story short I ended up going to Hall Honda and getting my price matched and they had the vehicle on the lot. I really wanted to give this dealership a try since it seemed smaller and I like going with local and home grown businesses(Big Mistake!), but I have to say that Hall treated me so well and there service department is awesome!
