My experience with the Service Department has always been excellent, and they directly influenced my decision to buy a new car there. I wasn't happy with the Finance Representative. I waited a very long time while he filled out paperwork (over 1 hour) before he acknowledged or greeted me. Then, I felt rushed, got a lot of short vague answers, and I did not feel particularly welcomed. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but there was a lot of money involved. More
1 Month in with my 2015 Sonata Limited UPDATE: Its been over a month since I've had my 2015 Sonata Limited. I'm having 2 major issues right now. 1.) Theres a vibration while accelerating. I UPDATE: Its been over a month since I've had my 2015 Sonata Limited. I'm having 2 major issues right now. 1.) Theres a vibration while accelerating. I did my research, & its the ECU, and needs an update. And 2.) My car holds 18.5gals, and its only filling up at 12gals, which I find insanely ridiculous and a huge major issue that Hyundai needs to figure out ASAP. I've researched the issue, and many Limiteds and Sports have the same issue. This should be a noted, official recall under Hyundai. Again, I've done my research, and the gas tank issue could be an electrical software issue "module adjustment" or it could be the fuel tank sending unit. I know my car is a Certified Preowned Car, the issues should have been resolved with the previous owner. Im not happy at all right now with First Hyundai. Why didn't they fix the issues before I paid 23k? Ridiculous. I do love the car though, and I honestly hope they can fix the 2 issues...I have a service appointment this weekend, and I will continue to update you guys! More
Employees do not communicate well Salesperson told me that financing did not affect the price of the car. Finance guy told me the exact opposite. Finance person kept us waiting for well over an hour. Finance person requested additional information (insurance, etc) and provided an email address to send info to. Information was sent promptly to him, but I never received a reply email confirming receipt. The salesperson texted me to get the information, when I texted back, he did not confirm that he received the information. Car was not ready to pick up for over a week after purchase. Salesperson told me that I could only pick up the car when he was working as there was a bunch of paperwork to sign and review. In fact, the actual transfer took 5 minutes, required no signature, and could have been easily done by any staff person. Overall this was a frustrating experience. More

Purchased used vehicle I was referred to the dealership to purchase a vehicle. I spoke with someone initially to discuss my situation and had a good rapport built. I worked with Jamil in the dealership and was treated very well. My only issue I was sold a vehicle that did not have a title in the dealership. This created an issue with my registering my vehicle (in RI it is with 72 hours, although I was told 7 days). The title took well over 7 days to get here making it an issue for driving and had to get an updated bill of sale so I could drive legally. The registration and inspection was all taken care of however, the title issue was a big issue for me. More

Anthony was rude, smug, condescending and incompetent. This was the worst experience that I've ever had at a car dealership. The sales manager, was rude. The internet sales department overpromises and und This was the worst experience that I've ever had at a car dealership. The sales manager, was rude. The internet sales department overpromises and underdelivers. They told me the car I was looking for was ready for delivery. I arrived, they pulled up the wrong car (Took 50 Minutes to get the car). The could care less about my concerns and they just bragged about how many cars they sold. I emailed the owner and the only reply I received was a call from internet sales trying to sell me a car. This dealership represents all the reasons you don't trust car sales people. I would stay far away. I even thought that by getting the internet sales team to send me an email verifying our deal would help but it didn't. The general manager Anthony just said that there was a miscommunication between internet sales and him. Classic. More
