Days passed and repeated promises went unfulfilled. Finally, after multiple calls on my part, I was able to return to the dealership to get the registration and inspection. Glossed over details After narrowing the search of our mid sized SUV needs, we settled on the Santa Fe Sport for value, size and appearance. We are happy with the vehicle After narrowing the search of our mid sized SUV needs, we settled on the Santa Fe Sport for value, size and appearance. We are happy with the vehicle however after driving the car for 10 days our registration is still not completed. We entered the dealership with a competitors vehicle (Honda) with 3 months left on the lease. We were told that they would pay off the remainder and just "return the vehicle to Honda" as they did not want it on their lot. Sounds easy enough. When asked if they would also pay the end of lease fee on the Honda, the salesman said "You don't have to pay that unless you fail to fulfill the entire lease". While that is not how I read it (our first lease) I took his word for it as he is in the business. When reviewing the new Hyundai lease, the same fee appeared. I asked the finance manager to explain that fee and was told if you do not buy the vehicle or re-lease their product, you are responsible for it. Just as I thought with the Honda fee. Knowing this at the beginning of the deal, I would have negotiated differently, waited for another Honda or bought the car and sold it outright. Our salesman glossed over this detail in order to quickly sell a car, which is fine if that's his chosen style of sales. I did not appreciate that tactic and when I called him out on his words while in the finance office with my family, he said to scrap the deal and start over. In which the finance manager shut our folder and told us to go back on the sales floor to re-negotiate. I had the sales manager agree to pay for half in order to keep the deal active in the sake of negotiations. In retrospect I should have scrapped the deal as the salesman suggested. More

Good dealerhip Good dealership. Everyone was very helpful. I just feel it was a busy time of year. Felt rushed. It was near closing time when the deal was complete Good dealership. Had to clean out my original lease and put it all in the new lease quickly. Some confusion when old leased was moved in the lot and we could not find it. Also did not notice damage on new lease until the morning after. Jamil did call me back quickly when I explained this to him and told me it would be taken care of. I was quite upset after seeing this. I feel a brand new car should be perfect. I take very good care of my car inside and out. I was not happy when I noticed this. There are still 2 chips in the front and rear bumper that need to be taken care of and Jamil is working on this. More
