BUYING A CAR SHOULD BE A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. ITS THE SECOND BIGGEST PURCHASE IN MY LIFE AND I HAVE PURCHASED AROUND 20 CARS IN MY FAMILY. FIRST HYUNDAI HAS A GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY PEOPLE WO SECOND BIGGEST PURCHASE IN MY LIFE AND I HAVE PURCHASED AROUND 20 CARS IN MY FAMILY. FIRST HYUNDAI HAS A GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY PEOPLE WORKING FOR THEM. WHEN I ARRIVED AT FIRST HYUNDAI, GHULAM ASGHAR GREETED ME WITH A BIG SMILE, SAT ME DOWN AND ASKED ME ABOUT MY WANTS AND NEEDS, COLOR ETC. PULLED THE CAR RIGHT TO ME TO TEST DRIVE AND MADE SURE THAT I LIKED THE CAR. HE MADE NEGOTIATION PROCESS VERY EASY AND GOT ME A GREAT DEAL. SAM DAWOOD WHO IS THE SALES MANAGER, CAME OVER TO THANK ME FOR MY BUSINESS. GHULAM INTRODUCED ME TO MIKE WHO IS THE BUSINESS MANAGER, WHO GOT ME THE FINANCING AND EXPLAINED THE PAPERWORK TO ME. TODAY I GOT MY FIRST OIL CHANGE WHICH TOOK ABOUT HALF HOUR. LOVED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I DID NOT EXPECT SUCH A GREAT SERVICE FROM A HYUNDAI DEALER. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FIRST HYUNDAI TO EVERYONE. GREAT PEOPLE ALL THE WAY AROUND. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE OWNER OF FIRST HYUNDAI TO PUT SUCH A GREAT TEAM TOGETHER More

Was looking for a third car with good gas mileage and not too expensive. We had been to two other closer dealerships and had received poor service. Felix was great and sold us on a lease at a good price. Ver too expensive. We had been to two other closer dealerships and had received poor service. Had an exemplary experience with the sale management staff. They made me feel like I was the most important customer of the day! I came in to look at the new Elantra and Victor kindly covered all the staff. They made me feel like I was the most important customer of the day! What kind of dealership has service hours starting at 7:30am and there is nobody there? All I wanted to do was have a diagnostic test run to determine why my Sonata died in the middle of a highway at 2:00 in the morning. They have no service hours after 5:00, so the best I could do was get there for the first appointment and hope they did not keep me too long. I show up at 7:30 and there is not a soul there. Lights off, doors locked. I bought the car there in 2008 and now I remember why I go elswhere for service. More
I recently negotiated a good deal on a new car at this dealership after alot of pressure to " buy today " . However, when I went to get delivery on my vehicle , they told me they had made a mistake ( the dealership after alot of pressure to " buy today " . However, when I went to get delivery on my vehicle , they told me they had made a mistake ( the salesman was " green " ) and now would have to pay the excise tax on the vehicle ( I was leasing). I agreed to compromise and pay half of what increase they were asking for . The " finance manager" initially agreed but then said " I think i have to pass on this deal ". In other words, the deal they initially agreed on was just too good and they would not keep their word . I feel this is unethical and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone as they cannot be trusted. My salesperson was actually quite nice and had little to do with the negotiations which were handled by another salesperson. I dont think he will last long there as his ethics are way above the rest of the group. Stay away from this dealership!! I subsequently bought the same car at another dealership and had a much more pleasant experience ! More
Guess it's time to add to the negative reviews. This was the first place I looked when I started shopping. The salesperson, Louis, was pleasant but seemed to ask the same question numerous times. I looked the first place I looked when I started shopping. The salesperson, Louis, was pleasant but seemed to ask the same question numerous times. I looked at the 2011 Accent (fuel economy was the biggest issue for me) and was told the pricing on a trade-in would make the price difference for a 2011 Elantra very miniscule. The sales manager, Sam, "ran the numbers" and came up with a very impressive sales price for the Elantra, with a generous allowance for my trade-in. So far so good, but of course I should smell a rat. There was high-pressure sales tactics to get me to buy the car THAT DAY, but of course I walked to see what other places have to offer. The car and the price were good, however, and I wanted to finalize the deal. I sit down for another 2.5 hours (after 2 hours on the first day), fill out all the paperwork with Louis, get the trade-in appraised, etc. I've filled out the financing paperwork and the finance manager comes over, introduces himself, and says he'll be with me in five minutes after he runs my credit report. AT THIS POINT: Sam comes to me with my salesperson Lou and says that they've made a mistake and the price quote was for the 2010 Elantra, not the 2011, and they cannot offer the price they did before...in fact it will be almost $3000 higher. I point out that the price worksheet clearly has the MSRP for the 2011 Elantra (which was on most of the ones in the lot) and if he's the sales manager, how would he not know that's the price of the new 2011? He has no answer but that he has 2010's in that price range. I reply, Yes, but not at that exact MSRP. He again makes a big show of apologizing. Then, his "offer" on the "2010" actually drops almost $1000 more than the initial figure he claimed was "the best possible deal" the previous time I was in. Bottom line, it's the old bait and switch after they get you so far in you might think you have no other option considering the time invested. I'm not the patsy who will take his 2010 that he couldn't sell last year off his hands, so it's time to move on to a different dealership. I still like the car, but there's NO WAY I'm dealing with these crooks again. More
I purchased a 2009 Elantra last year. The car is great and the price was very good. We bought the car and were told that we had free inspections for the life of the car. I brought the car in for the first and the price was very good. We bought the car and were told that we had free inspections for the life of the car. I brought the car in for the first inspection yesterday and they tell me that that deal is no good because I didn't bring my car to them for every over-priced oil change that they offer. So even if I did bring it there for the oil change the inspection is really not free and actually more expensive than anywhere else. I am quite upset about being lied to. When I was told by the service rep that this was not going to happen I asked if he was willing to risk me making a scene over $29... His first reaction was to mention calling the police which tells me that this is not the first time that something like this has happened. I should have known better because when we were buying the car there were three salesman that were "working" with an elderly woman at the table next to me. Those three salespeople were so nasty to this woman that it made me uncomfortable, the only reason I didn't walk out then is that the price was good. I can't stress how awful this service was especially coming back after purchasing the car the people there are very unhelpful and quite nasty. If you have already put your money down they want nothing to do with you. I would rank this dealership very far from "First." More
