We saw a car on line and went in to test drive it.We put a deposit on it and later got a phone call that the car was no longer available.Nicole did however offer us the same deal on another car with similar a deposit on it and later got a phone call that the car was no longer available.Nicole did however offer us the same deal on another car with similar options. The price was excellent but there was a lot of added fees which made it a good deal but not a great deal. More
It is not often that I would be motivated enought to actually spend my time and go on the internet to "rate" a car dealership for giving good service. In fact, I dont expect it will ever happen again! actually spend my time and go on the internet to "rate" a car dealership for giving good service. In fact, I dont expect it will ever happen again! But, my experience with First Hyundai was actually such a nice experience they deserve some acknowledgment and some positive feedback for a job well done. My car was in an accident and totalled. Therefore, I was under the gun to get a new vehicle and fast. Mind you, I did not have a lot of funds either to allocate to a new vehicle. Well, the staff at First Hyundai listened to my needs and found a used vehicle which suits my needs at a fair price. The most positive thing about this unfortunate event in my life was that all of the people at First Hyundai treated me with respect, fairness and professionalism. I never felt any sale pressure or unfair business tactics. In a tough situation, I was treated with dignity and respect. For these reasons, I would highly recommend First Hyundai and Ed, Colton and Blake! More
I recently purchased a 2012 Hyundai Sonata SE from First Hyundai in North Attleboro. I have to admit I was very please with the experience. Most people set out to purchase a vehicle and feel as though they Hyundai in North Attleboro. I have to admit I was very please with the experience. Most people set out to purchase a vehicle and feel as though they need to put their battle gear on. Well I went there armed and ready and met Colton. I have to admit he's one of the nicest (I know) salesperson I have met. He is very sincere and genuine. He didn't rush me or push me...trust me I was there forever. You may call me naive but I felt like my happiness really matters. He wasn't full of xx, he was just trying to do a good job. He could tell I didn't much care for the first vehicle I drove so we tried another. Then options, oh my. He very nicely helped me get the options I wanted without making it all about price....like what's most important to me and I think this will fit the budget you're looking for. The finance team also bent over backwards to get the deal done...I'm not the easiest person to deal with. More
Mr. Maurice was knowledgeable, friendly, and got me the best deal possible as quickly as possible. I would definitely buy from him again. Mr. Howle processed my paperwork efficiently and quickly. I went into First Hyundai to buy my first car! I went to this dealership because my mother bought her car from them and was very successful. I met David Maurice who helped me through the process. He was ver this dealership because my mother bought her car from them and was very successful. I met David Maurice who helped me through the process. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I felt like he was a friend not a salesman. He was very honest about the cars and what was best for me not the dealership. He worked with the financial group to get me a very affordable price. I decided that I wanted to lease the car that day. I went home and I decided that I wanted to buy instead. The next day, I met with Greg Howle who gave me a great trade in price for my car, a 2001 Honda. He also gave me a price I could not refuse with low monthly payments. It was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend anyone to go there. You will be satisfied with the service, prices, and products!!! More
Nicole was very pleasant to deal with. My husband and I always dread car shopping, the stress, the worry that we won't get a good deal and the headache of a pushy sales person. We did not have any of that always dread car shopping, the stress, the worry that we won't get a good deal and the headache of a pushy sales person. We did not have any of that with Nicole. She was very easy going and informative and really made us feel confortable about our purchase. We will definitely shop there in the future again. More
I will never purchase a vehicle from First Hyundai again, nor will I ever recommend them. I purchased an Elantra approximately 5 months ago from another dealership. Unfortunately, someone smashed into it and nor will I ever recommend them. I purchased an Elantra approximately 5 months ago from another dealership. Unfortunately, someone smashed into it and totaled it. I stopped in to First Hyundai and spent a lot of time walking around the lot looking for a car, but there wasn’t a salesperson to be found. Eventually, I walked up to the desk inside and asked for a salesperson. Ed Nae came over, I told him exactly what I was looking for, and he said that he had one on the lot. I told him that I just bought one five months earlier and I didn’t want to play the negotiating game again. I offered to pay the same price for the car. Well, he disappears to talk to the sales manager, then returns with a pen and paper asking me to write down what I am willing to pay. I told him that I already gave him a number but he persisted. He offered to “throw in” a free oil change and free inspection stickers for life. Having been at this for a while, we agreed to pay more just to make the deal and be on our way. However, I would have never agreed to pay more, had I known they were going to throw in a ridiculous amount of fees. We met with Paul Andrade for the financing. He said that he would get us the best interest rate possible, then he quoted me a rate that I knew was too high. When I complained he lowered it by a percentage point. I am still wondering why I didn’t get the best rate right up front as promised. Now having been there for hours, I made it perfectly clear that I wasn’t willing to pay for anything optional and I signed all of the paperwork. Paul charged me $199.00 for protection plus, a dollar amount preprinted on the form. When I asked what this was for, he said it was for my FREE inspection stickers for life. Didn’t make sense to pay for something that was “thrown in” for free. After reading the protection plus form, it has nothing to do with inspection stickers at all. It is an optional service that I didn’t need or want. They also charged me another $584.00 in fees, not counting tax, title and registration, which added significantly to the cost of the vehicle. When we asked what they were for, the sales manager said one thing and the finance person said something different. When I told the sales manager how unhappy I was with the fees, he gave me an attitude and walked away. In any event, they both said part of it was to clean the car. I don’t know how much it costs to clean a car with 4 miles on it, but I am sure that I paid too much. They even left plastic on the handles inside. Ed called me to say that the registration came in. I asked him to mail it to me and he said that he would. When I didn’t receive it a week later, I called to confirm that it was mailed. Ed was not there but the guy who answered said it was his boss. He said they don’t mail registrations and I had to drive back from another state to pick it up. I am wondering why Ed never called to tell me that he didn’t mail it like he said that he would. When I bought the first car it came with a Hyundai Assurance Guarantee Certificate which guarantees the trade in value for four years. When I asked why I didn’t receive that with my paperwork, I was told that it only applies to cars financed through Hyundai. I told Paul that my other car wasn’t financed through Hyundai and I received the certificate. Paul said it’s written in the fine print somewhere. I still haven’t found that fine print. I guess I will have to follow up with Hyundai directly on that. More
On 2/4/2012 I had stopped by First Hyundai looking to speak with an individual we were dealing with online. I was immediately greeted by Nicole when I arrived. We talked about the 2011 Santa Fe we were speak with an individual we were dealing with online. I was immediately greeted by Nicole when I arrived. We talked about the 2011 Santa Fe we were interested in from the online quote. The vehicle was intended for my wife, and without her being there, I had asked if we could test drive the Santa Fe to my home so my wife could see the car for herself. Nicole accommodated that request. She went with me to meet my wife and son, we all talked and looked over the car in detail. After I got the "nod" of approval on the car, we drove back to the dealership. Once there I was interested in the dealership itself, I wanted to know the history and background of whom I might be buying a car from. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the dealership was a family business and not a large company. Nicole had explained the many benefits of purchasing at the dealership that you may not find at other locations. I really wanted to know what this dealer could offer that others could not, or didn't. Again, I was pleasantly surprised that this dealer prides itself on "continued" service to their clients. Going into this transaction, I knew what vehicle I wanted....really I could get it anywhere....not just First Hyundai. What I really wanted was an outstanding "product", and that includes the car AND Service....the whole business relationship between the dealer and the customer. Nicole had done an excellent job explaining the benefits. At the end of the day I got the car I wanted at a fair price, and with the financing I required. After the purchase, Nicole had taken it upon herself to make sure the registration and inspections were done properly and timely, and placed an order for a missing gas door release handle. Within a week Nicole has followed up to see if we were pleased and to let us know that the handle to the gas door release lever has arrived and was ready for pickup. I'm confident now that I have purchased from the right dealer, and I got the overall "product" that I wanted. They did an excellent job. I would be happy to recommend this dealer to anyone I know.
