I was in a bad situation when my ex boyfriend defaulted on the car in both our names. I had a 2010 hyundai elantra and he had a 2011, there was a lot of negative equity between both cars and my payments w on the car in both our names. I had a 2010 hyundai elantra and he had a 2011, there was a lot of negative equity between both cars and my payments were well above $900/month. We had bought the 2011 at first hyundai and I had had a good experience. I went in to first about 4 days ago to get a copy of my registration. (the ex had taken it when I had repossessed the car) I met a woman there named Barbara who listened to my situation and felt compelled to have me talk to a sales manager to see maybe what we could do. I brought in one car, talked to Greg Howle who is the general sales manager, he said he would go above and beyond to help me out. And first hyundai really stepped up to the plate. I was able to trade in both cars and get myself into a nicer car that was in a price range I could afford. I love my new car and it is perfect for my business, family, etc. Derek was my sales man and he was amazing. Because I did not have anyone to help me drive both cars in he actually drove me to my house to pick up my second car... When I live about 25 minutes away... ON HIS DAY OFF! (omg!) I couldn't believe it! He was so friendly and put me into the car that I could afford, was right for me and even in a color I love. ;-) I can't thank them enough and I would gladly recommend them to all my friends and family, anyone looking for honestly, integrity and a dealership that actually cares. Evan, Blake, and George Thank you for our new/used vehicle, we love it. Evan thank you for all of your hard work in getting us in and out in a timely fashion so that we didn't miss the "boat". I went here to check out a new 2013 Genesis Coupe that was on their website. I contacted them before hand via their own online chat and was told that the vehicle was on the lot and ready for a test drive was on their website. I contacted them before hand via their own online chat and was told that the vehicle was on the lot and ready for a test drive. The chat continued to try to get me to commit to a time when I could be 'scheduled' to test drive the same day. I refused and told them I was already in the system from when I test drove another vehicle so I did not want to receive 2x the emails from their dealership. They still persisted and I had to disconnect chat. Later that day I drove down to check out the new 2013. Needless to say, it was not on the lot but was in transit. That was extremely upsetting seeing as I took time out of my schedule to go see the car. I asked for a trade-in value on my car, and was also upset by the numbers. My car is valued at $18,700 (Clean Trade-in by NADA). The dealership looked up the value of my car on their computer and then proceeded to tell me that I would be lucky to receive $14,600 for my vehicle and that they would give me $13,500 for it. At that point I left. It was clear that they are all for profit and wouldn't care about your experience when buying a car. All of the negative stuff I have said is a reflection on the dealership, not the salesman I worked with. He was extremely polite, and friendly. He was also extremely knowledge about the product, and if he was ever at another dealership I would be willing to work with him, but First Hyundai is just not the place for me. It just didn't feel right, and an experience like that is hard to overcome. More

Excellent service and friendly staff. The salesman allowed my husband to drive to my job to show me the car. In addition, the sales team ensured that we got the payment we wanted for the car. I went to first Hyundai last week to purchase a 2012 elantra. I wanted to get a good deal and pay a fair price for the car. First of all the sales men will tell you that because they love their customer elantra. I wanted to get a good deal and pay a fair price for the car. First of all the sales men will tell you that because they love their customers so much, they "include a spare tire that Hyundai doesn't provide". What they neglect to tell you is that they charge you $400 for it as an additional fee. Also, Kelly Blue Book said a fair price for the exact car with all the features and fess was $18,233 plus tax and reg. after negotiations for about 3 hours the best offer I got was $18,800 plus the cost of their "non-optional tire for $400. If you do the math that is $1,000 more than a fair price for the car, which is absolutely crazy. They kept throwing it in my face that they were number one in sales and therefore that means no other dealer would ever be able to give me a better price. I then left the dealer and went home for the day. The next day I went to Tarbox Hyundai in Warwick RI to see what they could do. Guess what, I got a way belter deal. Tarbox ended up selling me the car at 17,800 for the exact car, plus a few other options like an iPod cable. They did NOT charge me $400 for a donut tire and their doc fee was $100 less than first Hyundai. I WOULD NOT recommend this dealer to any one, and if you do go here, be sure to check their offers to other dealers because the fees this place charges is insane. The general sales manager, Greg Howle thinks that his is gods gift, when truly he is a very rude man who I could hear constantly insulting the salesmen working for him, and when he talked to me he was so rude, you would think I was asking for the car for free. These guys went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me get out of my upside down loan and into a brand new Sonata. Their patience was amazing, and I am truly greatful for everything they did for me. My salesman Dave wa upside down loan and into a brand new Sonata. Their patience was amazing, and I am truly greatful for everything they did for me. My salesman Dave was very helpful in the choosing of the car, and Dell came through for me and made me feel like a wanted customer. I would definitely recommend this dealership and especially these two guys to others! More
After three extremely disappointing encounters with dealerships, one a Hyundai, in western Massachusetts where I live, a friend suggested I speak with Evan. I had had enough of the less than honest beh dealerships, one a Hyundai, in western Massachusetts where I live, a friend suggested I speak with Evan. I had had enough of the less than honest behavior of the individuals who I'd talked with at the dealerships near where I live. I am the kind of person who researches car purchases and knew what I wanted. What I did not want was deceit which is exactly what I received from those three dealerships. My last vehicle purchase was nearly nine years ago and that vehicle is still going strong with 240,000+ miles. My choice this time was a sedan (SUV last time given where I live). #1 choice was the Sonata; #2 was the Accord. After speaking with Evan about exactly what the term "certified" means and the wide-world of warranties, he suggested I check out a vehicle First Hyundai recently took in trade. We drove nearly two hours to meet with him and see the vehicle. With two kids in college, I live within a budget and researched extensively the values of the vehicles I was interested in. This Sonata was it for me and as long as I could get it at a price I was comfortable with, then I was done. How many people show up with their two year old grandson, carseat in hand, to test drive a car? Evan was great about answering all of our questions and with being squeezed into the backseat with my daughter and said grandson. I would, without hesitation, purchase a car from him again and intend to when my SUV decides it's had enough. A vehicle purchase is not an insignificant event; one should come away from it happy with the individuals they dealt with and the vehicle they are now driving - we are. My only regret is wasting valuable time with the other dealerships. More
I have been a customer for over 2 years here and this was the first bad experience I had. I Went in for a 45000 mile tune up and a complimentary detail that they OWED me. I bought my car there and when I cam the first bad experience I had. I Went in for a 45000 mile tune up and a complimentary detail that they OWED me. I bought my car there and when I came to pick it up it wasn't even cleaned. I was told to wait and it would be done. I waited 2 HOURS and it hadnt even been touched. I was told that whenever I came back for my first oil change it would get done. I came back 7 months later because the because the used car I bought needed new brakes. I hadnt even driven 7000 miles. That alone was suspicious. I also got my 45000 mile tune up and asked for my detail at the time. I dropped off my car at 10 am. called the next morning and was told it was ready. I got there and my car hadnt been cleaned at all. When I brought it to their attention everyone just looked at me. Then I told them I needed to go and couldnt wait. They brought my car to me soaked in the inside, my tvs were wet and my seats were wet. They didnt even bother to wipe it dry. Once these Ppl get your money they dont even care. I will never buy from them again and I would rather find a new dealer who cares and respects their customers. I wouldnt waste anymore money here. More
We came in to look at the sonata because it was advertised as a sale and there was a huge $6000 discount. When we got there, the price on the car was marked higher than price on internet. I was t advertised as a sale and there was a huge $6000 discount. When we got there, the price on the car was marked higher than price on internet. I was told as I was WALKING towards the car for a test drive that there was a deposit on it and when I got to the car, they had a "SOLD" sign with some random name that WASN"T EVEN REAL written on it. Seriously, don't play this game with me. Don't tell me there is a deposit and then show me a car that someone else had already put their own hard-earned dollars on for a deposit. It's not going to make me want to buy your car any more. and DEFINITELY don't put some bogus name thinking that I'm that spineless to want to buy your car. If anything, it made me hesitate to even test drive the car. I didn't even qualify for the full $6000 because even though they heavily advertised as $6000 off, it was a bunch of small discounts added up so any given person would only qualify for some of them, but rarely all. They added some $2000 administration fee, which was completely bogus, so the "dealer price" of the car was at this point over $5000 higher than the internet price. When discussing price, they kept on saying we gotta meet half way, but all they did was extend our financing plan rather than actually change the out-the-door price of the car. Plus, the sales rep acted like he was too cool for school and wasn't even that nice. Overall, I walked out of there NEVER wanting to EVER go into another car dealership. I was so disappointed, felt like they totally false advertised and wanted to play a numbers game with me. Being a local, I will never be recommending this place to anyone. SO, save your time, energy, and money, and go else where. More
