Ugh. Where to begin. Well, I had done lots of Ugh. Where to begin. Well, I had done lots of research on the prospect of getting new cars for myself and for my girlfriend, but ultimately some p Ugh. Where to begin. Well, I had done lots of research on the prospect of getting new cars for myself and for my girlfriend, but ultimately some poor planning on our part lead us into a pretty lousy dealership. Lets start with sticker prices, all of the sticker prices here seem very high, especially when compared to another Hyundai Dealership that is located about 30 mins away. On top of the high sticker price, they install a couple "Dealer Options" on the vehicles, which each increase the price a few hundred dollars, reaching nearly $2,000 in extra price... The "options" are things like, mudflaps, pin striping, interior protectant, and door guards. When i asked about these options, and if they supplied any vehicles without them, they told me NO. And proceeded to claim that all Hyundai dealerships do it, so it's not worth haggling over... well that is a complete lie, and why I just believed the salesman without questioning it is beyond me. Suffice it to say that the other Hyundai dealership I ended up checking out DID NOT add those options to all vehicles, so I could have gotten a much better deal elsewhere, as these 'options' really didn't do much in my book. Secondly, during 2 seperate negotiations, in which I gave very specific numbers that I was trying to stay between, they did everything they could to go ABOVE those numbers, and were completely unwilling to negotiate, again, I was new to the idea of a lease, so I wasn't entirely sure how the process works, and was kind of told that there isn't any wiggle room in the numbers for a lease (again, a lie. I found out later). The salesman said that my numbers were unrealistic, and there was no way it would work, and acted like they didn't want or need my business, Two other dealerships did everything they could to give me the best deal (for our second new car purchase), and I got a price elsewhere that to this dealer 'is impossible' Next, while signing the lease on my GFs car, at the last minute they tell us that suddenly she doesn't qualify for the College Graduate incentive because she had a derogatory mark on her credit report... now that doesn't sound legit at all, but the wording on the website is so murky that they can really do whatever they want, and it's not technically wrong (it made no mention of being disqualified from the incentive because of credit, and the dealership knew she had less than perfect credit because we told them she needed a cosigner, yet again, they didn't bother to mention anything about that negating the bonus). Another incentive stated "Up to $6,000 over KBB fair trade value" which when I asked about it, thinking that it was its own incentive, was informed that all that means is that all the other incentives can add up to $6,000 but not more, and isn't in itself a different offer. Another 'bait and switch tactic' because I specifically asked about it on the phone, and they played along with me, making no mention that it's not an incentive, but rather an incentive cap, all so we would get into the dealership. Next, on signing day, we had set up a time to go in, I think it was 6:30pm. We had to coordinate with 2 relatives to come down as well, one was cosigning for her, one was signing over the trade in vehicle.... ANYWAYS, we get there early, and STILL END UP WAITING! For about an hour! How rude is that??? No real explanation was offered, and it seemed like they honestly didn't care that they were making so many people stand around waiting, because they decided to slide another customer in before us. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I feel dumb for recommending them to begin with (I bought a car there 3 years ago, and they are the closest dealer to us) and even more dumb for not realizing the load of crap they were dealing us. We should have shopped around more, but were on a limited time frame, so we made concessions. Even if this IS the best deal she could have gotten, we just FEEL like we didn't get a great deal because of how they conduct themselves. Maybe they really did have zero wiggle room in price, who knows, but knowing that another Hyundai dealer nearby was more than willing to fit the car into my price range makes me wonder. Go to Route 44 Hyundai, they offer FAR BETTER prices, are willing to negotiate to earn business, and were overall much more pleasant to deal with. I had a much looser time frame for my new car search, and got an infinitely better deal elsewhere. A deal First Hyundai said was "impossible and unrealistic numbers" More

After looking and looking and looking for a new-to-me vehicle, I finally found one that met my criteria at First. However, once I went to the dealership, I found out that I had just missed out on the ca vehicle, I finally found one that met my criteria at First. However, once I went to the dealership, I found out that I had just missed out on the car; it had just been sold. David took my contact information and told me he would keep an eye out for what I wanted. About a week later, after expanding my search perimeters, I found another car at First. I contacted David, who confirmed that it was still available, and went down to see it. I loved it. As we completed paperwork, David mentioned that he didn't contact me about this car, as it was more expensive than I had said I wanted, which I really appreciated. It was also nice that there was no pressure to buy, and I didn't get call after call after call about whether I wanted to purchase the car or not. Once paperwork was done, David was helpful and flexible, and I was able to take home my new-to-me car by the end of the week! I would highly recommend both First and David to anyone looking for a car! More

I had recently gotten a new job that required a lot of driving and resulted in me needing to end my lease early. I went in to First Hyundai to ask questions about what my options were. Pat Coffee introd driving and resulted in me needing to end my lease early. I went in to First Hyundai to ask questions about what my options were. Pat Coffee introduced me to Bobby Matay to help answer my questions. He was fantastic. He answered all of my questions, did not pressure me at all, and helped me to look at my purchase with considerations for things I hadnt thought of. Bobby, Pat, and Anthony worked quickly and effectively to get me out of my lease and into a better situation for me and my current circumstances and in a car I loved! They were friendly, explained everything so that I could understand, and answered all of my questions completely. This team worked together to make what I thought would be a stressful situation a truly seamless transition. I would recommend them to anyone and have actually already done so. More
The sure sign of a GREAT TEAM is when the other members pick up the slack for a person having an off day. I had originally attempted on getting a quote for selling my 2007 Toyota Camry with the intent on pick up the slack for a person having an off day. I had originally attempted on getting a quote for selling my 2007 Toyota Camry with the intent on purchasing a newer pick up in the near future. The first team member that we dealt with was pleasant but he seemed disinterested and noted that they didn't have any thing for me and simply walked away. I drove home that morning and I said that the situation just seemed strange. I later called and spoke with Katrina whom I had previously scheduled the appointment with and explained what happened. Her reaction and empathy to the situation along with her quick reaction endeared me to continue to try to get something done. Shortly afterward the Used Car Sales Manager Blake contacted me and he was also very apologetic like Katrina, and we were able to swiftly make headway over the phone. My wife and I returned that afternoon and Blake had the Chevy Silverado I was interested in all gassed up for my wife and I to test drive. It ran great with some minor cosmetic issues which are being tended to this week. I thought this truck was way out of our price range but with our fantastic Salesman David Moniz's assistance Blake was able to meet all of our needs and at a price we could afford. When we later met with Dean the Finance Manager he was amazing in working his 16 year experience to get us an incredibly low interest rate. As we were nearing the end of the transaction I inquired to Blake what he recommended concerning my wife's upside down car loan. He was easy to talk to and even though it was a crazy Saturday and he was the only Finance Manager on property he took the time to listen and to inform us of what he felt would be in our best interest. That is quite refreshing. As we were about to leave we checked in with David and he filled me in on the timetable for all the details that were being addressed with my new purchase which made me leave there with the peace of mind that they have things under control. A few short hours later Katrina contacted me to congratulate me on my new truck.....extremely impressive whether that is her job or not. She has incredible people skills and a very inspiring personality as well. Thanks to Dean's advice I scheduled an appointment for this morning to bring my wife's car to have an appraisal done and look into a possible lease. I have dealt with many dealers and salesman thru my life but I have never come across a TEAM that cares more about taking care of the customer rather than squeezing them for every last dollar. I look forward to meeting Sara today and I will post that experience as well. I am very excited about getting my new truck later this week and I am also quite fortunate when I say I have made a few new friends as well. Thanks to the Entire Team at First Hyundai especially Katrina, Blake, David & Dean for an outstanding experience. It is not every day that a Sales Team can WOW me but those four people certainly did.
