I have been a loyal patron of toyota. All our cars are purchased from findlay. My family has always been satisfied with its services not until my last maintenance visit. As a patron I feel there is personal touch when my service consultant take time to meet me and explain the services.I left the service center disappointed. Let me start off by saying this is by far the worst purchasing experience in my 50 years life. When I made a deposit ($500) ,we came to the agreement for $2,000 markup since I know how the market is purchasing experience in my 50 years life. But if you are looking to buy tacoma without markup,please go to Longo toyota at El Monte,you will thank me later. Only place I found with $0 markup. Back to my story, Finally my truck arrived, I went there well prepared since I saw a lot bad reviews about findlay toyota being shady on signing day. Long story short, They charged me twice for markup I attached the pic to show you guys what to watch out for, First of all, make sure if they start off the pricing with MSRP like how other place normally do, Instead these guys start off with the term "market valued selling price" This means they will charge another market up on top the markup you agreed with sales person. Now I know what the market valued selling price is (basically they are telling me since I already charged you with markup,i want to rip you off with something else to you but if we put another markup or add on somewhere the buyer can notice that easily so they will just add tinted window and accessories ,etc to your msrp and disguise it as "MARKET VALUED SELLING PRICE".... I have a few tips to give out to you Please don't waste your hard earned money for these guys,even if it is just a few bucks. Please make sure, If you have to buy a vehicle from these unethical people ,check if the estimate paper is starting with MSRP. And make sure if your windows were tinted and floor mat were added,There must be hidden charges somewhere. Nothing is free with these guys especially in this seller's market with toyota badge on. Please question them with every single charges. Make sure to bring appraisal from reputable place like carmax and have them beat it or at least match it for you. Get that promise in written otherwise they will find a way to not honor that. And please take a look at the pictures that I attached, it will speak for itself. Finally after left review on yelp,one of their manager reached out to me,and I asked him for refund for the hidden charges that they didn't mention nor written down on the contract. He said he will get back to me,but vanished for 3 days and tomorrow is Saturday. No followup,No call back,No nothing. Shame on you guys! More
