Just purchased a car from Findlay Mazda and I have to say it was a seamless experience. I called to setup the appointment, I drove the car with the salesperson (Nick G), then we negotiated a fair price and c it was a seamless experience. Our experience with Findlay Mazda has been nothing but a headache from day one of purchase. The vehicle did not come with a manual or a second key fob. When we finally received the second key fob it did not headache from day one of purchase. The vehicle did not come with a manual or a second key fob. When we finally received the second key fob it did not have a back on it?? So they put a used one on that was so scratched. Finance department- they did not pay my trade in off within the 10 day buy out period, which added on interest and short paid my trade in loan. I still don’t understand how this happened since I emailed the finance manager with the exact dollar amount on the Monday after we bought the Mazda. I was left with a balance on my trade in that in the end the dealership reimbursed me for but this should have never happened as it did. Service department- the most incompetent, dishonest, careless workers I’ve come across at a dealership. Our instrument cluster and display cover was scratched to S!$T! They agreed to replace it but the one they replaced it with was even more scratched and had massive fingerprints and residue on it. Instead of being honest and transparent with us from the get go and telling us that our original piece that was removed was cracked on removal and we have to put the one that just came in and was clearly used in the vehicle until they can get a new one they tried to pull a fast one on us thinking we wouldn’t notice the scratches and fingerprints. Oh we did…Now we have the “new” piece installed. Not only does this instrument cluster still have scratches but their technician got grease on the upper part cloth of the interior roof in two spots, left white residue on our leather seat, scratched the middle console and left shards of plastic and debris on the drivers side mat. This dealership is a complete nightmare to dealer with. I would not recommend the to anyone. More
