I took my 2016 HRV to the Centennial location of Findlay Honda. It needed Transmission services. Because a Transmission Plug blew out, pretty common for the HRV. It was sitting on the transmission, so I pla Honda. It needed Transmission services. Because a Transmission Plug blew out, pretty common for the HRV. It was sitting on the transmission, so I placed it in the car and drove to the dealership. I told the service (Geo) advisor what I needed and he wrote it up, just like how I asked him to. To reinstall the plug it’s in the car, and change the transmission fluid. Geo did a good job writing it up, it’s the mechanic’s that dropped the ball. There was a Multi-Point Inspection done on my car but they seemed to have missed the very dirty engine air filter and the equally very dirty cabin filter! The next day after I brought the car home, I decided to take a look at the plug and see if they reinstalled my old plug. To my amazement the old plug was not reinstalled but a brand new one. I’m sure I got charged for the new plug! Then I looked at the engine air filter to see what I needed to replace it, that’s when I found that very dirty engine air filter! If they did a multi-point inspection, just what did they look at? So the following Tuesday a get a text from the Service Manager, she asked me to send her a picture of the air filter. I’m sure she was shocked by how dirty it was and no-one mentioned it at all! She also missed calling me back after we arranged a time! How rude is that!! Sure you might have had 2-3 emergencies but, you could have taken seconds to text me a few words that you will get back to me asap! But you didn't... If you are not going to call someone back at an set time, don’t tell them you will, I was very upset with how my very first service ever went at Findlay Honda! I guess I can't attach any pictures but if you would like to see how dirty they were contact me. Also, I still don't trust that their mechanical's cleaned that transmission vent that clogs and it builds pressure in the transmission and blows out the fill plug. But I'm not going back to ask for confirmation that it's cleaned! More
