Took our 2018 Honda CRV in for its 60 thousand mile check up. We got the following done: oil change; new water pump and coolant; new brakes on front and back axles; and, replacement of a leaking air conditio up. We got the following done: oil change; new water pump and coolant; new brakes on front and back axles; and, replacement of a leaking air conditioning seal. The air conditioning seal was covered by an extended warranty and it also included adding antifreeze to get it back to the proper level. Our service agent, Deven, did a great job in keeping us informed of what needed to be done and why. He also did a great job in keeping us informed on the status of our car. We typically keep our cars for more than 10 years so this maintenance was well worth it. More

My recent routine A12-B12 service had unexplainable hidden costs. When questioned why the quote differed from the actual costs, I wasn’t given a reason. My quote of $610 plus tax went up to 650.36 plus hidden costs. When questioned why the quote differed from the actual costs, I wasn’t given a reason. My quote of $610 plus tax went up to 650.36 plus tax. So I quickly reconciled the actual invoice with my quote and found the A12-B12 and BG Fuel induction were both marked up from the quoted amounts and I still cannot find the unexplained 41.56 miscellaneous charge you hit me with. I was offered a 5% discount for the inconvenience but felt insulted because I was still stuck with overpaying and given no reason. It’s not about the money, it’s the principal at this point because the extra charges could not be explained nor was I informed by my service advisor of the increase. While the military discount brought it close to the quoted amount prior to tax, this experience left me a little heartbroken because my trust is no longer with you. I always spoke highly of Honda, your dealership in particular, but seeing how you snuck in hidden costs thinking I was just going to shell out close to $700 without any question is not good. Not good at all. And lastly while I’m ranting, please tell your telemarketing team my husband doesn’t own my vehicle. The loan is under MY name, I pay the insurance, I pay the registration and I pay MY monthly car note. I do not want to see another offer via mailings or email to buy MY vehicle addressed to my husband about MY vehicle. I’ve sent correspondence concerning this matter over the past 2 years to no avail. My husband has HIS own vehicle with you guys. Please understand when I say this, I will always be skeptical and on edge when I bring my vehicle in for servicing to your dealership. Never in my time of owning a Honda have I encountered this situation. The economy is in such bad shape and to gouge a customer the way you did, even for a small amount, is unacceptable. I can’t be the only one your dealership did this to. More
