I've had nothing but excellence from the service dept so when my car was totaled I decided to check out their sales dept. I landed Ron Girkins. What a gem! I gave him a list of what was important to me to have in a vehicle and what needed to be avoided. He asked questions and so did I. Back and forth until we both felt his understanding of my needs and wants in a car was crystal clear. It was icy so he went across the street to get a car off the lot he thought met my criteria and brought it back to the showroom. Very courteous. Ron was spot on finding just the right car! I really wanted a red vehicle and ended up with white one, but still Ron found me a car with 99.9% accuracy. He paid attention, listened, and honored my requests. I'm not young and this was not my first car purchase. historically I have walked out on negotiations when the sales person was less honorable. Through no one's fault, there was a very long wait for Austin Cunningham in finance to be available. Ron was so patient and respectful during the entire evening even as it got later and later. Despite the hour neither Ron or Austin ever suggested finalizing the sale the next day. During the long wait Ron chatted with me like he'd known me forever - easy and comfortable. I hope this is my last car, but if it's not, I'll go back and hope Ron is still there. Shout out to Austin, too, who no matter how late it got, maintained his kind and respectful ways. Thank you both for making a task I didn't want to do as pleasant as possible. More

Had a pretty bad experience at the dealership today. I went in looking for a new Rav 4 hybrid spoke to Ty on the phone earlier in the week and was told it would be probably 2 weeks but he didn’t want to I went in looking for a new Rav 4 hybrid spoke to Ty on the phone earlier in the week and was told it would be probably 2 weeks but he didn’t want to under promise under deliver so expect 1-2 months which I was ok with. So fast forward until today I get to the lot get introduced to Ty and was quickly told that that cars are on a 6-7 month back order. I then ask why I was quoted incorrectly and am told oh I would never say that and he didn’t remember our conversation at all. Well ok so we are sitting looking at what cars he could get and then after he could tell he might not make a sale I am told that he is going to have another salesman Shane take over because he has an appointment to take care of. Which was super rude since I was an appointment as well but since he wasn’t getting me to go for his what felt like a bait and switch he wanted to leave. Never shop here again go to Autonation Toyota way nicer and more professional. More

purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GS Coupe on November 20th. The sale went great, no issues with that as Tyson and Shane were awesome to work with. My issue is the lack of integrity by selling a vehicle with major issues. I recently replaced the front rotors and pads and noticed both ball joint boots are torn. I also noticed a smell of coolant in the cabin of the car indicating a heater core issue. After about a half hour yesterday morning I found the coolant leak. It is right at the motor inlet where the outlet heater hose is clamped. Another issue, the engine has a lower end tick/knock which indicates piston slap as this engine has a known defect and Hyundai has settled a class action lawsuit over it. Obviously had I known this would be how Larry H Miller Toyota sells used cars I would have never purchased this vehicle. 1/18/2022 I have replaced both lower control arms and heater hoses on my own dime. 2/11/2022 I have confirmed the engine cylinders were scored from piston slap with a bore scope. 2/15/2022 I was fortunate enough to trade the Elantra for a 2019 Toyota Corolla at AutoNation Toyota for what I currently owed. Still lost nearly $5500 between dealership mark up, taxes/registration, and parts. More
