Unfortunately my experience with Findlay Chevrolet was extremely disappointing. I had been working with a very nice Salesman ( Noah) daily the entire week of May 15th. We communicated no less than 3-4 times daily concerning a new 2023 Camaro which was due to arrive at the dealership from the plant on May 18th. I had scheduled 5/18 to test drive the car and ultimately purchase it. I even received 4 confirmation calls from customer service reps throughout the week to remind me of the scheduled appointment. During the process I was given a quote on what my purchase price would be in detail including my trade in value which was created by the Sale Manager Ryan. On 5/18 I received a text with a photo showing the arrival of the car still on the truck. The Salesman suggested I put a deposit to ensure no issues which I complied. I sent my ID as well as payment information which was sent approximatelt 2:20pm on 5/18. As with most new car buyers a great deal of anticipation and excitement was building. I headed over to Findlay Chevrolet around 4:30 pm and during my drive I received a text from the SalesManager , Ryan that he was letting me know that they had sold the car I had been waiting for and was on my way to purchase. He stated slight mix up and it was sold, sorry. Then to , I guess, make me feel better stated that they had not processed my deposit which had been sent more than two hours prior, this there was knowledge for two hours they had messed up and waited to inform me until I was on the way. When I arrived I asked to speak to both the Salesman and Sales Manager. The Sales Manager took the posture of " Oh well, as he said, Right Place, Wrong Time, It was sold nothing he could do. Zero communication skills, Zero professionalism, Zero understand that the purchase of a new car is a significant event. Ryan could not have shown any less compassion and frankly walked away and let the Salesman alone to deal with the issue, Poor Leadership. I Did not, raise my voice, did not make any statement other than how did this happen, Do they not have procedures to ensure this error doesn't happen, and how were they going to solve it. Ryan said, well, sorry, nothing I can do, even though He was the way in charge and was aware I was coming for the car days before, remember, he had completed a quote for the purchase two days prior. What a disappointment. So extremely unprofessional and lacking any customer service skills. I had thought that the Findlay family of auto dealerships had a great reputation, unfortunately I was sadly mistaken. They demonstrated they do NOT care about the customer as long as they get a sale.
