Actully, me and my wife had taken in our 2008 Trailblazer to be serviced for some annoying engine noise. I had bumped into Doug Fleming out on the showroom floor while we were waiting to hear the bad news on to be serviced for some annoying engine noise. I had bumped into Doug Fleming out on the showroom floor while we were waiting to hear the bad news on the Trailblazer and had informed him why we were there. Doug is very familiar with the state of my credit history from looking into buying a couple of years ago; needless to say its challenged, and he had Brian Savinda come and speak with us. Then due to possible credit worthyness issues, Brian and Scott Nicolari worked together and presented us with our viable options of trading the Trailblazer on a new vehicle. I expected to hear from them that the only loan they could provide would be some astronomical interest rate like 14 or 15 percent and would need to put 10k down to get it! But to our surprise they were able to not only give us what we owed on the Trailblazer (even in its busted state), we were able to drive away in a brand new 2013 Chevrolet extended cab 1500 LT at 2.9% and the incentives covered the down payment needed. Needless to say I was blown away! The best thing with this whole experiance is that prior to the approval, at no time did Doug, Brian, or Scott treat us like we were second rate clients because we have "challenged" credit! GILL the finance mgr. was even a pleasure to talk to and informed us what we are approving. we had our 2010 hhr serviced a week earlier and the service dept. people we great, thanks HEATHER BOBENHAUSEN. we we'll have no problem telling people about FINDALY CHEVROLET sales,service, customer service. Brian, Scott and John were great. I have always had an excellent experience with this dealership. I want the dealership to know how great my sales experience was. I have dealt with other dealerships and I always left there with too many questions. This did not happen with Finlay I left understanding my new car and what it can do. I also was told that I could always call and ask questions if I forgot something. This is very impressive because most other dealers just want to sell you a car. This dealership is just like family and EVERYONE makes you feel like it. More

I went in to Findlay right before closing on a Saturday night (December 8, 2012), knowing exactly what I wanted to drive away in (down the very last detail) but also knowing that I NEEDED to drive away in night (December 8, 2012), knowing exactly what I wanted to drive away in (down the very last detail) but also knowing that I NEEDED to drive away in SOMETHING, even if it wasn't what I wanted (I was put in a "hairy" situation where, despite my "not so perfect" credit, I was forced to trade-in my 2011 Chevrolet Cruze for a new vehicle and/or refinance it without my co-signer - a feat to be accomplished with less than one week's notification and no preparation). Luckily for me, Melissa (Findlay management) connected me with Shawn Painter (terrific salesperson!) and he took the time to listen to me explain my situation and describe my wants vs. my needs. Within minutes, Shawn found not one, but two, cars that fit my ideal vehicle description to a "T" - to the point I told him that he could take his pick! He helped me fill out the loan application, inspected my trade-in, got a payoff on my trade and coordinated with the finance department with professionalism, a sense of urgency, and accuracy. He did this all while trying his best to get an approval on my loan after 8 p.m., on a Saturday night, so that I wouldn't have to wait on pins and needles until the following Monday to find out whether or not my loan was approved. Unfortunately, the bank did not get back to us that night and I went home with low expectations on that end...but, to my delight, Shawn sent me a text (my preferred method of contact - he actually listened to my request for texts!) first thing Monday morning to let me know how excited he was that my loan application was approved. The kicker - I was qualified to purchase my first-choice vehicle, a new 2012 Chevrolet Cruze in my favorite color; plus, my payments were only going to be $12 more than what I was paying on my trade, a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze! That evening, after a long day at work, I got to Findlay where they had all of the necessary paperwork ready for me to sign and I drove home in my new 2012 Chevy Cruze just a couple of short hours later. Shawn took care of my every need and request with the utmost professionalism, got excited with me about my loan approval/interest rate/low payment, and treated me with genuine respect and kindness. Thanks to Shawn's knowledge, professionalism and dedication; the expertise and skill of the finance department (special thanks to Gill Bouganim, Finance Manager); and Findlay's quality stock of vehicles, I was able to drive away with a huge smile on my face in the car that I had hoped for...knowing that come next month, I'll be sending in a payment that I can afford. To top it all off, all of that was accomplished within less than four hours of my time and no hassle! Not to forget the guy that got it all started - Chris Silva, who answered my initial telephone call, exhibited excellent customer service skills and ultimately took the initiative to talk to management about my situation, which started the ball rolling on my car deal. Chris also took the time to come introduce himself, and then again came to say goodnight before I left - the fact that he takes pleasure in helping people really shines through and adds to the customer friendly atmosphere at Findlay! Went in to service my 2007 Equinox and left with a 2013 Equinox. I really enjoyed my experience at Findley's and the staff was very pleasant. Newell was excellent. He beat the price of another local Chevy dealer for an even better model. Friendly, prompt, knowledgable and we were in and out in only a couple hours, browsing to driving home in my n Chevy dealer for an even better model.
