My very good experience buying my car. Everyone at Findlay Chevrolet was very polite, listening to me, giving great respect to myself and my daughter during my buying experience. Newell was very polite, never pushy,, and gave me honest answers. I am so glad to have met Newell, Tony, Mike and JR. All in all, each made me feel welcome and explained everything I asked and more about the car and the sale. I will recommend Findlay Chevrolet to my friends and family as a very non-stressful atmosphere to see and buy a car. We had 2 other appointments with other dealers to see after visiting Findlay Chevrolet, but, we cancelled them and because of our gracious treatment, cancelled the other appointments and made a very fair deal with Newell Olmstead and Findlay Chevrolet. Me being an old school person that I was just getting my first new car, they were very understanding and gave me great service, making sure that I knew where all of the buttons were, and setting up my on star, and hands free devices. What a Difference a Good Dealership Makes The day I began my search for a new pickup, I stopped at 2 Chevrolet dealerships. When I arrived at the first dealership, I told the "Salesperson" tha The day I began my search for a new pickup, I stopped at 2 Chevrolet dealerships. When I arrived at the first dealership, I told the "Salesperson" that I was interested in the Colorado with the 6' bed. "That doesn't exist" he replied. Next he told me over and over what a hit I was going to take on my trade-in. There was more to the conversation but it became quite clear that he had no interest at all in selling me a vehicle. I almost went home but decided instead to go to Findlay. The difference was night and day! First I met Salesperson David Janacek. I can't say enough good things about him. He was interested in what I had to say and went above and beyond the call of duty in making sure I drove off that property in a 2016 Colorado. The one with a 6' bed. I hope Findlay appreciates what an asset David is to their business and one of the many reasons I give this dealership 5 stars. More
Service Manager was no help but great employees I targeted my frustration at the wrong person at first (Service Department) and it was not them, it was the (Business Manager) after contacting GM Cus I targeted my frustration at the wrong person at first (Service Department) and it was not them, it was the (Business Manager) after contacting GM Customer Support and finding out the some of the Warranty's that are sold are not GM Warranty's so they have no control over this but do know of an up-sale issue and that is what happened to me. Watch out for the (Jeff) Business Manager/Paperwork signing, I would record the conversation when you deal with him because of the up-sale and then later when you come asking for your warranty work. It might get denied and you will want more then hear say. Nevada, is a one-party consent state. I have bought three cars in 5 years from Matt Masluk at Findlay and all but this one experience has been great experience at no fault of Matt. The Findlay Management (Jamaal McCoy) did contact me and I explained the issues and concerns that I had. He did offer to refund the warranty's but just to prove a point I declined it since the work will not cost me that much. I would like to see the concerns fixed and not for Findlay to think "I have buyer's remorse. Which I don't, you could not get me to get rid of the truck." I drive a extra 30 minutes to buy my cars from Findlay and Matt because the dealership is great most the time. I have always been treated as a VIP when buying a car, to services and even if you trade it in. This is just a one off. Thank you Matt Masluk and Jamaal McCoy for always trying to provided a great experience. I only down grade the Customer Service because of the Business Manager but usually always 5 stars plus. More
