RUN AWAY! I thought I was having trouble with my transmission when I took my truck in to the shop. They told me that they "opened up my transmission " and found I thought I was having trouble with my transmission when I took my truck in to the shop. They told me that they "opened up my transmission " and found that 3rd and 5th gears were "shot and not worth rebuilding". I decided to drive back home to MT. When I get home the transmission shop here found a part in my transfer case was warn and needed fixed. My transmission is in good condition. Stay away from this place. More

Worst car buying experience ever!! I recently bought a vehicle from Findlay Chevrolet in Las Vegas the Torrey Pines location . I was referred there by the Carman show on 88.1 fm in Las I recently bought a vehicle from Findlay Chevrolet in Las Vegas the Torrey Pines location . I was referred there by the Carman show on 88.1 fm in Las Vegas Nv. At first everyone was really friendly and I received the car I wanted, but then things when south..I had the car for 3 weeks when I called asking for my DRS to register the car, I was then told there was an issue with the bank closing the deal (which happen to be the dealerships fault) We eventually straightened everything out , but I still hadn't received my DRS. By this time my temporary Placard had expired and they refused to issue another one. My salesman DJ Jeffers is the type of person who tells you anything to try and diffuse the situation but is a total liar. I told him about some stains on the chrome of the car he said he would get it fixed of course he did not.He also said that he would provide me with a dealers plate until the DRS arrived ..he also did not follow through with this. Then the Floor manager Daniel Lundberg said that he was sorry and that when my DRS arrives he would personally take me to the cashier and they would register my vehicle in which case was another lie. My DRS came 5 days later and none of the promise made by Findlay chevorlet were honored. I am now currently liable for late charges on registering my vehicle due to the negligence of the dealership. I have never felt so under appreciated as a customer in any endeavor. The fact they talked to me anything as if I was ignorant bothers me..I felt totall discrimination whether it is because I am black or wasn't spending enough money for them, either way I did not feel like a wanted customer..I will never do business of any kind with their dealership again!! I would never refer anyone here. More
Saved me almost $7,000 Check engine light came on when on was on may way to Vegas to pick up wife at airport. Limped into Ted Wiens on Craig Road around 1pm. They told me it was impossible for them to look at that day, so I had to get a rental car , pick up wife drive over 200 miles to our home. The next day they called and told me that I would need a new engine at a cost of $7,200 plus. I called around Vegas and when I talked to Billy Chang at Findlay Chevrolet he was very sympathetic with my situation . He quoted me a price for a new engine that was a few hundred dollars less than Ted Wiens and gave me a number for a tow company if I wanted it towed to them or elsewhere. I called many places and they were all within a few hundred dollars of each other. I called Billy three times and each time he took the time to explain the cost and they were able to start on it as soon as they received it. He also said that they would need to check and make sure that I really needed an engine because it was rare for chevy big blocks to go bad with only 135,000 miles. He was the only one that said that they wanted to do this first before selling me a new engine. So I had it towed to them and within 4 hours they informed me that I had a broken valve spring and it would only be a few hundreds. They also would have it ready that day!! So I saved over $6,500 and got the work done quickly. The tech who worked on this even took the time to show me the broken part and explain what he did! I have been driving for 50 years and over those years I have had to deal with many repairs and this was the best experience I have had. Take your vehicle to Findlay Chevrolet. They will treat you fair and quickly!! More
