We took our 2014 Acura MDX in for an oil change a couple of weeks ago. The service department informed us that the front struts were leaking and needed to be replaced ($1367.96) and both front lower contro of weeks ago. The service department informed us that the front struts were leaking and needed to be replaced ($1367.96) and both front lower control arm bushings were torn ($963.99). I got a second opinion from the mechanic that I take the Acura to when I want the truth and he informed me that NEITHER needed to be fixed. This in not the first time this has happened with this dealership. On another oil change visit we were informed that we needed to have the brake pads replaced. Again, when I took the car to our mechanic he told us that the pads still had 65% on them. We will no longer be taking our vehicle to Findlay Acura to be serviced. This dealership should be ashamed of their service department. DO NOT TRUST THEM. More
Would be nice if they actually did what they said on the service invoice. Went in with tire pressure a bit low…when I left I noticed the tire pressure was even lower than when I had arrived there. Purchased a car from Travis Hensel. He was great! Very friendly and professional. Answered all my questions on -. he'd done his homework on the the BMW Hybrid I was looking at. I was He was great! My tire pressure drop to 26 PSI two days in a row. The 2nd day I filled it, I went to TireWorks on Cactus. They told be I had a nail in it and could not be patched. I was leaving on a road trip that d The 2nd day I filled it, I went to TireWorks on Cactus. They told be I had a nail in it and could not be patched. I was leaving on a road trip that day and could not wait till 3pm. So I took it to Acura Service. There was no nail, and there was no leak. I was so relieved and grateful for their honesty. I took the 4 day trip and had not issues with the tire. This is why I am a 7 year customer on my 2nd Acura from them!! More
