My car was in a no-start condition. I had my car towed in to be diagnosed and repaired. I had my car at the dealership by 10:30am. I was told my car would be in the shop within the hour, and I would be call to be diagnosed and repaired. I had my car at the dealership by 10:30am. I was told my car would be in the shop within the hour, and I would be called appx. 30 after to give me a status report. I called the dealership 3 hours later, and my car was still not in the shop. I again called the dealership, 5 hours after I had dropped my car off, and left a message requesting the status of my car. I received a call back less than 5 minutes later. My car was finally in the shop and diagnosed. The part was in stock, and my car was all set to be repaired. I gave them the go ahead, and and my car was finished right away. More
My experience was excellent. The service staff was freindly and very helpful. They were in constant contact with me. They also did a very good job in finding the problem with my car and fixing it. I also appreciate the fact that they did not try to hose me. I have gotten my car serviced at University VW and every time I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Uptown VW was not like that at all. They told me how much it was likely to cost and that was the price that I was charged. Excellent job!! More
Uptown Volks Wagen's service department is by far the very best customer service I've ever received and I'm almost 65 years old. I got to watch them deal with a variety of problem situations as I was waiting for my Jetta's timing chain replacement to be completed and they were always courteous, professional and new what they were talking about. They hooked me up with a loaner (a really nice one) as I live in Gallup which is about 150 miles from Uptown VW and I really, really appreciate it! I can't remember her name but the woman who handles the payments is really sweet and friendly as well. Thanks again from a very satisfied customer. I brought my 2012 GTI in for it's first check up. The service department did a thorough job on my vehicle in a very timely fashion. I feel I can trust the service department at Uptown to do what needs to be done and not try to sell me 1500 parts I really don't need. When I was there they were working pretty hard to remove a stain a customer had made on his interior, and they were locating an outside source to tint another customers windows. I can't say I have EVER had a service department do that for me. This service department goes above and beyond what the are required to do and it shows. But, aside from working with David who sold me the car, the Service Department is the only reason I would recommend someone comes here. More
