I called uptown VW to make an appointment for my 2001 Passat for some badly needed repairs. I was expecting to wait a week or so before I would be able to get in, but the woman told me I would be able t Passat for some badly needed repairs. I was expecting to wait a week or so before I would be able to get in, but the woman told me I would be able to come in the next day. Wow, what a concept! After the initial eval of what I needed I decided to have all the work done which wo ill take a few days. I was given a loaner vehicle which my kids loved because it was like having a new car. I could see myself owning the loaner car. The repairs that were done went beyond my expectations. Components that were disassembled were replaced because that what is what is supposed to be done. I feel my 12 year old car is in good shape now and I am hoping to reach the 200k mark. I know with a team such as tours at uptown I can achieve my goal. Thank you for a great experience. I also enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks and the quiet lounge for customers. More

When I came on Friday for my 1000 mile check-up, I was promised 45 minutes, and right at the 45 minute mar is very friendly and I am helped quickly. I brought my Jetta in because of a bad battery problem, as well as a few other issues, including a recall I had ignored for some time. The service consultant who I worked with was very courteous--explaini as well as a few other issues, including a recall I had ignored for some time. The service consultant who I worked with was very courteous--explaining what was needed in terms of other work, and how long I would have to wait. I was especially impressed that after I had first called in with my inquiry about my immediate service needs (getting a new battery), he called my right back (thanks to Caller ID) with better directions to the shop. He explained my options, including what could be put off until another time. The work was finished pretty much at the time he said it would be done. They even washed the car!!! While I know I probably could have installed my own battery for a few dollars less, at least I know I got the right one in the time I had to get the job done. Thank you More
The people managing the service department were very courtious and professional. I was a little surprised to find that my interior light had been switched on, and that the vehicle clock had been altere courtious and professional. It took me a half minute to fix them, after i stopped about three hours later. I assume it had something to do with resetting the computer after the oil change. More
