Happy with our decision We traveled from IL to see the Volvo we purchased and by the time we made it to the dealership they were getting ready to close; however, the rep we w We traveled from IL to see the Volvo we purchased and by the time we made it to the dealership they were getting ready to close; however, the rep we worked with, John Smith, stayed late with us so we could test drive multiple vehicles and was extremely accommodating. We had our two year old son with us and he was running around all over the place and even John was entertaining him since he was getting restless. To make a long story short, I gave five stars because John really rolled out the red carpet for us, he followed up when he said he would, his product knowledge was impressive and even when we went to close on the deal the business manager, Alexis Brinckerhoff, was awesome. I'm African American and I've had challenging experiences in car dealerships in the past so I was a little nervous, but from the moment we walked in to Volvo I was treated with respect, I was helped promptly and I was taken seriously as a buyer. Best car purchase ever I was never treated like I didn't belong or that I was not welcome. I drove up in a rusted out 2006 dodge caravan. John Busse listened to what my needs were and respected the fact that I did not want to be called. Over 9 months I stopped in 6 different times with no appointment and called John at lest 9 times with questions. My questions were answered and I was treated with respect by all. I HATE buying cars but this was by far the best experience I've had in 50 years. Will definitely come back, they do know how to service a customer. More
