My 2014 Mazda 6 is the 5th Mazda that our family has purchased from Skyland Automotive. I came in to Skyland wanting a Dodge Charger. It was my first car buying experience and even though I knew exactly what I wanted and had done my research, I was still nervous about the whole process going first car buying experience and even though I knew exactly what I wanted and had done my research, I was still nervous about the whole process going right. When I got out of the car at the dealership, finally with the intention to buy, he met me as soon as I got out. He was immediately helpful and friendly. He made sure that we were comfortable when we sat down and made an effort to connect. He made and obvious effort to find me exactly what I was looking for. He even allowed me to play some music in one of the showroom models to test out a stereo system. All in all he made absolute sure to help me without placing any pressure on me, the whole time displaying honesty and confidence in his service. My wife and I are expecting to adopt three young children in the next few months. We came to the dealership looking for a mini-van for all of us to fit in. On Sunday night, 6/9/2013, I saw a vehicle on Skyland Automotive's website in which I thought I might be interested in purchasing. I contacted Skyland Automotive by internet and asked for a rep. to email Automotive's website in which I thought I might be interested in purchasing. I contacted Skyland Automotive by internet and asked for a rep. to email me. Skyland's Internet rep, Mitzi, contacted me the next morning. She was able to do all the preliminary work such as giving me information on the vehicle and determining the trade-in-value on the two vehicles I wanted to trade in. (I was able to give her all of the information on my vehicles as well as send her photos of them via internet.) I worked with her to find just the right vehicle to purchase within my budget. Then, I was ready to test drive. I was then turned over to Sam King, a Skyland salesperson, who helped me from that point on. Sam was very professional, kind and helpful, taking me on the test drive...driving the car himself to make sure all was okay, and explaining everything about the vehicle. I, then, test drove the vehicle myself. At that point, I knew I would like to purchase it. I was able to get Skyland to hold the vehicle for 24 hours, with a small deposit, until I could get my son out to test drive it. On June 15, I purchased the 2008 Dodge Avenger. Over the next day or two, my brake light started coming on periodically and going back off. I was really worried something was very wrong with my new purchase. I got in touch with my Salesman, Sam King, on Monday after purchasing my car on Saturday. He immediately called Service and had service rep., Nathan, call me. I took my vehicle in on 6/18. Nathan ran it through express lane and discovered my brake fluid was a bit low. He corrected that and said to drive it and see if that solved my problem. If not, I was to call him back. He felt sure that was the reason the brake light was coming on. That solved my brake light issue. Needless to say, I am really enjoying driving my new purchase. I had a very pleasant experience at Skyland Automotive from your Internet rep. to your Salesman to your Service rep. I would give them a 5-star rating on my experience. I loved my internet experience especially, as this allowed me to make a decision on whether or not to pursue the purchase within the privacy of my home. All of Skyland's representatives treated me with the utmost kindness, patience and respect. More
