If I could give a 0 rating I would. I have been a customer of Fields Cadillac and Cadillac in general for the last 24 years. I bought the last car there in 2019. A certified preowned 2 I have been a customer of Fields Cadillac and Cadillac in general for the last 24 years. I bought the last car there in 2019. A certified preowned 2015 SRX with 9400 miles. Everything was great with service all those years until they changed management and fired most of the service department. It went downhill from there. In March 2024 my car had 84,000 miles and was 9 years old when a part (electronic brake control module) failed. Not only does Cadillac not make the part any more, but it could also not be repaired and it was VIN # specific. So basically I had no choice but to trade my car in. That was bad enough but when I brought the car in for that problem, they changed my regular brake pads and exchanged fluids at a cost of over $800. On a car that they knew was no longer any good. I complained to the BBB and asked to be reimbursed for that money. It was gouging pure and simple. Fields Cadillac did not even bother to respond to BBB. They were rude to me through the whole ordeal and offered me less money for a trade in than any of the other dealers. I will never buy another GM product as a result of being treated so poorly by this dealership. More

Everyone was courteous but they didn’t correct the problem. I live some 35 miles away and it is irritating to have to return because the problem was not resolved. Also after leaving dealership I notic problem. I live some 35 miles away and it is irritating to have to return because the problem was not resolved. Also after leaving dealership I noticed that cruise control not working. Had to double back 12 miles at which time was told software update would take up to 24 hours to become effective. Why was I not told that when I checked out? Repair failure will cost me another trip and a half day of my time. More
