Don’t get ripped off and don’t get LIED to by going to Fette A year + ago I purchased a gorgeous black Ford F-150 pick up truck from Fette Ford. I informed them that the truck would be registered Inn NY, and wo A year + ago I purchased a gorgeous black Ford F-150 pick up truck from Fette Ford. I informed them that the truck would be registered Inn NY, and would pay the taxes there. Because it was year end the sales manager wanted to get the deal done, and said “No problem. Just pay the New Jersey tax, then when you register the truck in New York, they will rebate you”. A complete LIE. Not only did New York require the sales tax be paid, but NJ refused to rebate what we paid the m. I contacted the dealer - shockingly, the salesman was no longer there. The sales manager refused to return phone calls. The general manager refused to return phone calls The OWNER refused to return multiple calls. So I’m out close to $1800 and the dealer got his sale. Please do yourself a favor and purchase your vehicle from a place the does not LIE, and that cares about their customes, as opposed to making month and year end sales goals. More
